Money doesn't make one sane. Gadaffi's richness in his best times surpasses that of Elon.
If you don't want Austin, you can return it to us (with all the companies there, obviously). And also the rest of the state. You will get universal healthcare and a good power grid. ;)
That might sound good if we wanted extreme taxes, socialism and rolling blackouts every late spring through summer. But, nah!

And it isn't the companies, it's the politicians and the group of folks that think "Keep Austin Weird" is a mission from, well, not God, but from something supernatural. :devilish:
Because the gray matter between the ears of most of us here is more or less like a bag of cats...
I'm a dog guy, so that doesn't apply here.

And I'm really thinking that the Dorm needs a dog or two. A loyal and fierce pair of German Shepherds or similar to serve as guard dogs and pets - maybe they have a couple at the base that can move in with Amanda and Eva. No Chihuahuas, though: they're the cats of the dog world, but less smart. Also, no beagles - they're good dogs, but bark and chew things too much, and it might offend Kim.

I love Kim and am looking forward to her development and her scenes, so I'd never seek to offend her.

To be fair, several of the Europeans here (and likely at least a couple of the Yanks) are probably at least quasi-socialistic... I get that sort of thing doesn't really fly in Texas... well, at least not outside of Austin... ;)

Oh, and I'd be cool with a Great Pyrenees or two... or a Malamute... or a Newfoundland/German Shepherd mix (had the latter growing up and he was a great dog).

Now we are talking about guard dogs... exception made for the Mute, they aren't territorial. But a nice big Rottweiler or a pair of Doberman would work just fine (just don't cut their ears or tails, that's barbaric).

Peace :)

My great aunt Celina got one, and my other Aunt got an Chihuahua, once My father invited them and told them "No problem, bring your dogs we got a garden" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Bad luck that both dogs couldn't stand each other and startet a full scale "minuature dog fight" that was a hell of christmas eve, then the two old ladys get protective about them and startet a verbal fight , :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: they almost ended beating each other we had to separate them :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Ahh childhood memories, no TV show can bring such funny stuff :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'll go with my rank:
#1 Martha
#2 Amanda (right now)
#3 SairaEmmaErikaNorahDaphneScarlettEileenSamanthaSimoneAlexiaEvaMaddieMeganKimKateDebbieLisaOliviaBettyKiara

#3 is in order of appearance ¿Surprised by Eva's position? ;)
Eva would look great in that position in certain scenes. ;P

I honestly almost added a Rotty to my list; and, even though Mutes aren't territorial, they tend to be very emotionally bonded to the person they work for.

I know that they are, and that they can fight, that, however, isn't what a guard dog does. The point of a guard dog is to not let them in, not defend you after, that's the job for a Pit, or a more agile dog, trained to fight. Guards HAVE to be very territorial, they also serve has an early warning. Something like a Fila, would be also quite good (these ones I know you know about :)).

Peace :D

We'd trade them Austin for.... Well, I'd have to do a little research on that - the pickin's a pretty slim. Hell, we might just give it to them.
Bakersfield, you'd want Bakersfield. It's oil-rich for one, for another it's famous for "The Bakersfield Sound' - Merle Haggard, Jean Shephard, and of course Buck Owens all hailed from Bakersfield. Politically it's Republican Red.
It's a fair trade, California gets Stevie Ray Vaughan.

The game said it found no save file (never played it before) and asked if I did certain things previously. Should I be looking to play a previous version before I play this one?

You should play Part 1 (v.0.12) for the story start. When you finish it, the game will make an autosave that you should import (not load) into Part 2 (v.0.15 currently).
