Can't know unless i try it, i guess But as a Scandinavian, my access to Brazilian cuisine is rather limited

It is super easy to make it at home and no no strange flavor mixes it is more or less a dessert (sweet) you need a pinapple ( the one they sell in europe is ok) you peel and slice it then you distribute some sugar (white or brown doesn't matter) and some cinamon, put it to the grill and eat it when the sugar has caramelized, (depens on you own taster of caramelization)
They suggest 3 uses,
1 ) to serve with meat, or roasted chicken
2) to add to Lettuce salad (in chunks )
3) (my favorite) as dessert with vanilla Ice cream
(I tried in the oven, and it is good and tasty but as true southamerican,I prefer it from the Grill )

I don't think i'd enjoy it with meats but it does sound interesting with vanilla ice cream Thanks for the suggestion, might give that a try some day!
