The suffering if a Maple Leafs fan. At least I can say I was around and witness all the other Toronto sports teams win their championships, I was born way later than the Leafs last winning.

And yes, North American (especially Canadian) sports teams! Some cities riot if they lose or win the championship, some go out and behave themselves. Most of the violence is on the field. (Bloody beer is like $20 anyway, so don't know how someone can be drunk at the game unless they went to the pub hours before).

Finally, caught up to over 40 pages of messages, around three weeks worth. Now I can't blink or it'll piss someone off and this game should be renamed MyEmma. I still don't want pineapple on my pizza. And it just reinforced that Trope is one of the best Devs with the answers and comments and devotion to the game. There are a few other Devs that partcipate, and it's always good when they can ignore the toxic people and be there for the players and fans.

Now I have to get back to work, I'm behind in that too, but priorities.

Alaska has its own baseball league. I recall going to one or 2 games because it was dollar beer night at the stadium. This was like 30 years ago tho...

Toronto is a great city for sport (well, a lot of Canadian cities are to be honest) and it's always fun to see Canadian teams with success, but even people from Toronto know how it's like an ongoing painful joke how the Leafs are just awful in the playoffs.

For the beer, fun fact; Toronto is the place where the beer cost the most in all the NHL. It's crazy that some people spend like 200$ on beer when it's 18$ for one....

Yeah but...anyone thinking about playing an update to any game (or starting it new) who before playing goes and ??? reads thread comments posted after the update was released kind of deserves what they get, IMHO.

Imagine if Empire Strikes Back were released today and you heard there was a big plot twist - what kind of dumbass would go to an ESB thread online before seeing the movie and read all the posts by people who have already seen it and *hope* nobody spoils that Vader and Luke are related? You would obviously assume that person had taken a few too many blows to the head, no?
