Honestly, it's hard not to like you and what you do. You truly one of the best devs because you're dedicated and also really quick to correct when something got wrong with an update (like text, or a glitch). It's always fun to talk to you and the people in this thread, seriously.

It was 1979 time frame the only time when I was going to Boot camp when they handed me my punch card and said "Don't loose that, it has all your information". Compared to back then to when I started IT in the 90s when you had 512 Mb hard drives to now I can get 32Tb hard drives.

Today I could buy a microSD card that holds 1 TB of data, with much faster access times.

Medicine has also made a lot of progress since the 80s but not at the same pace. Otherwise I would probably be evaluating the housing costs for a harem of pregnant clones.

The only thing that pisses me off about this game at the moment is the fucking WA Group that MC has no business being in. A thing that is completely ridiculous and pointless. Every time that group comes up in this game I wonder why I even bother playing this anymore, because I always get a fucking shitty feeling about why and how MC has been abandoned and left out.

There are a few things I wonder about
- Family: should be one where there are no secrets between its members, but now everyone seems to have secrets against the MC.
- Family: There should be a group of people you can trust, but now no one trusts the MC, so why the fuck should the MC trust any bitch in that house. Now everyone has stabbed MC in the back and sort of turned their back on him. I can only imagine how left out MC feels in that house. MC has lost everything important just because of that fucking WA group. Like I said the family should be a family with no secrets, nice to see that the family is set up within that WA group. Apparently there are no secrets between them. So at the same time, indirectly, you could say that the MC is not part of the family. At the same time you could say that the man of the house is fucking Jamaal. You can look far and wide for a shittier joke.
And then, when the bitches start having kids, what do they tell the kids about their dad who has been "banished" from his own family? I guess the bitches have it all worked out that Jamaal is their father. So the joke gets worse and worse.

If I was MC, I'd start packing and get the fuck out of that house to Europe, because he's not a family member and he's not welcome there. A home where there should be a family is a pretty toxic place for an MC. At that point if the MC walks out the door, then everyone should think in their stupid heads why we made that group. They deserve it. A mother loses her only son, but luckily there is still Jamaal. The sisters would lose their brother, but the group was more important to them all. That group with all the other family members except the MC is pretty cruel. It was rightly pointed out that it's just the girls and Jamaal. How fucking retarded would MC have to be to be part of a group or family when now he has no family. That family is made up of members of the group. Removing the group would certainly not improve the situation, as MC has already seen how shitty the people in his former family are. Why should MC. forgive all that shit when they have made it very clear that MC is not welcome or part of the family. That is, a place where there are no secrets and everyone is considered.

I had an Atari ST back then, before I joined the 'PC' world. I bought a hard drive for it, an external unit that was the size of a shoebox with a massive 100MB capacity! In fact, it had so much space that the OS couldn't address it, the thing had to be partitioned into multiple drives... I still remember laughing with delight when I realised that all the files I had scattered about all over the place could be stored on one drive. Never even occurred to me, back then, that having all your eggs in one basket was a recipe for disaster. Somehow I got away with it for years lol

I was enjoying lurking and the trip down memory lane with old PCs and then here comes a wall of text about how you're butt hurt the MC isn't in the group. Mine too, because I'm playing the Cloned version, not the patched "Family" version.

I don't understand these players. They don't want to play the Family version, because....................... but then they want that the DNA result to say that the girl that is pregnant with "their" child is their sister.

How can this 2 concepts run at the same time in those minds is above my comprehension.

I don't know about other games (I got sick of Landlady/Roommate shit before I stopped playing, that's why the patch is the same for every update and the players don't need to wait for a modder to do it), but My Dorm was designed with the two versions in mind.
I know people who don't like incest. I thought only a small percentage of players would play it unpatched, but I was surprised of how many of them play without the patch. Perhaps they aren't vocal about it because they think they will be bashed for their tastes.
Keeping both versions running (more or less) smoothly is a lot of work, I swear, but knowing a significant percentage of players play the unpatched version make me feel better doing exclusive content for that version (like Scarlett's DNA reveal)

I am happy with your non patched version, that's what I play. I was curious on the scene with Scarlett so since I have the Patreon download, I added the patched, checked it out and then removed the patch.

Thank you for no Landlady and Roommate stuff, get's tiring. Then it's Landlady's Landlady roommate or Roommate's roommate once removed kind of stuff going on. And I guess it keeps Patreon happy (for now).
