ok, so is there a list somewhere of where each of the profile pics comes from?
It's a bit weird that number 7 is missing from everyone even though on a few I have ones past that.

The numbers are "by topic"

So you will get girls without some numbers if you don't see them in those circumstances. Not everyone has shown up in costume or lingerie, for example. Even girls you have seen nude.

hmm, ok, a bit strange but I get it. Haven't had the DnD night yet, just been through the Eva+Amanda introductions to the 'family'. Is there any reason you'd not get something, I mean are there choices that would stop getting a certain category on any particular person (I know I decided not to pursue the grandmother so I can understand not getting some of those, but I am on the route for ever other female in this)

You will get every picture of the LIs you are with (depending on your pregnancy choices for 10 and 11). Date outfits, Lingerie, and Nude are also linked to being on their path for most of them (Saira, for example, is an exception and will get the nude pic if you had sex with her in the prologue even if you don't restart her path when she joins the dorm).
I'm not aware of any circumstance where you can miss a pic of an LI you are in a relationship with (besides pregnancy). But not everyone will get every picture (not everyone plays DnD or does sports, for example).

The point isn't "exactly" to collect them all, both outfits and girls. Yes, we "can" do it, at Trope's pace.

To be clearer, My Dorm, is about building a strong relationship. Whether with one girl or all of them, it's up to you. The goal is to build it, strong, lasting and meaningful. The outfits, truly aren't a collector's item, they happen organically, as you go through the story.

Since this is a game of choices, they will matter. Some things that you refuse, you'll have to accept that there will be consequences, also, if you accept them.

Peace :)

I'm not sure "consequences" is the best term to apply to this game ... not 'cause there aren't any, but more that the consequences in this game are more changes in the relationships rather than the story as a whole (at least, I haven't seen any signs of game-over choices). So "consequences" just seems like too strong a word.

What I see is that your choices define the relationships you have throughout. As Trope has said, you can end with everyone, or you can end with no-one, and pretty much anything in between. But regardless, you'll still be loved by your family (even if only platonic), and you'll still see the end of the story.

So everything you end up with is more of a choice made than a consequence of your choices. If someone can't be bothered to care about the choices they made ... well, that's a different type of consequence, and I suspect that gets them every time.

Maybe it's a language thing. In Portuguese, consequence doesn't have a charged state. It's simply the result of your action or inaction. It isn't good or bad, it just is.

You see, the game you call "Truth or Dare" we call "Truth or Consequence", the word consequence isn't anything troublesome.

It is in that spirit that I used it, something light and that can even be benign.

Sure, the game My Dorm, isn't the kind to have Game Over choices, but, if you decide to not follow all girls paths, you'll have "consequences" from that decision. Unlike other games, the girls all stay around even if you don't start their paths, so, the "consequences" are there, but not to the point of never seeing them again. With how many paths this game already has, if it meant having different renders, it would end up a bloated mess. So, the different scenes play out mostly by text, with minimal differences between renders (or no difference at all), mostly the renders are about the Pubic hair options and Kate body changes, at least that I remember.

So, sorry, for using a charged word. ESL for the WIN.

Peace :D

I answer both of you in the same message.
No, My Dorm hasn't any Game Over choice. It's a slice-of-life game and I think that, besides choices that would mean the MC dies (none in My Dorm), there shouldn't be Game Over choices in that kind of game. It's not a game where the MC has a goal at the start of the game (he doesn't have to save the world, he's not the chosen one). He only has... to live.

I use "consequences" (or "No consequences") in the same way FG says. For example when an action has only a visual effect (creampie (not going for the baby) or pull out). ESL ;) .

Most long-term "consequences" of players' choices will be seen in the epilogue. A little example: Megan's career in the epilogue will be way different if she's in a relationship with the MC and/or if she is pregnant. That applies to most of the girls.

There are totally different scenes depending on some of the players' choices (renders and dialogue). One of the most wholesome scenes (in my opinion) in Season 1 will only happen if Norah thinks she's pregnant. Two of the saddest scenes in Season 2 will only happen if Martha or Norah aren't pregnant. And the My Residence "time wasters" are also there. But mostly it's a "you choose to see content or not" game.

The girls stay around even if you don't start a relationship with them because it's logical to do so. Martha or Norah won't move out of Newport because you (filthy heathen) rejected them. Kate, Kim, et al didn't come to Newport seeking a relationship, Saira being the exception, so not having one isn't an issue that would send them far away. Sam and Simone are "part of the family" before the MC returns from college. Etc.
As one LI says (will say) to the MC "You aren't the leader of the family, but you are at the center of it". His (our) choices affect those around him (consequences) but all the girls have a life not dependent on the MC's choices. We see (or not) their stories through his eyes, our choices have an impact on their lives, but they won't stop living or being happy (or going topless, even if that bothers some players) because the MC isn't dating them.

Some days ago I was talking with an Australian player on Discord and he posted a can of a ginger beer. My sick mind wandered and I ended up making a fast render (sorry for the low quality) about it.
(F95 file server is doing fun things, so I attach it as a rar.)

Nope.
But I just posted on another pirate forum which has some LewdAngles *cough* and it works well, so I think it's an F95 file server thing.
Yeah, F95 servers have had a problem with attachments for a few hours now. I've tried sending my VPN around the world, but without success. (It's a bit weird, status page has been showing no problems the whole time).
