* I want all the girls to be shaved. I don't care if the Yeti defines part of one LI personality.
* The updates take too long/The dev is a milker.
* The updates don't have enough content/are short. (The funniest part about this one is that they compare My Dorm with games that update once per year with 70,000 words and 20,000 renders (animations included). In the last year, My Dorm has released 217,499 words and 76,804 renders (animations included) in 8 updates).

The only complaint about redheaded Martha we should be hearing is that she is limited to the D&D game.

Each time someone has spoken in a different language, it was translated or explained (twice so far, I think), so it's not only explaining a joke. The "et tu" reference is known in Western culture, not so much in other cultures and, fortunately, My Dorm's community is global. I don't know if an Indonesian or Kenyan guy would cacht it, so better to continue translating/explaining when someone talks a language different from English.


I have accepted ideas and suggestions from the community when they don't derail the story or they are better than mine (Eva's bush, Scarlett's reveal, adding Maddie and Megan as full LIs, etc.). But there are future plot points that need some events to happen in more or less a specified way (from the introduction of a new girl to how an event develops) and I won't change those.

As you say, it's impossible to please everyone, so any change over the initial story will have people liking it and people hating it.


Not every complaint has been listed, but there were several about "too many redheads/not enough redheads". And the complaint about Mark's dad jokes hasn't been listed because it's a justified complaint ;) . The guy should have flaws after all (besides his initial naivety and his face).
