i'm feeling weary, it's been quite some time story timeline wise since some "drama" has happened, 1st was the now ex-boyfriend whom tried to stab the mc, then was the shoot out at the house, i'm not counting the soon to be ex-husband, because even sober he isn't really a threat. so lets say its been 4months to 1 year since the home invasion. even if its been the former, that a lot of build up, kind a makes you wonder what dark storm is heading this way.
I wouldn't worry too much. Trope isn't for creating a big drama game. He prefers small interpersonal drama which is generally pretty quickly solved. Keeps things relatively light.

I prefer the drama to serve a purpose (personal growth, family bonding, relationship building, etc.). The MC and the "Army of Ladies" he has surrounded himself with can solve almost any situation and, if they can't, the family "owns" a real army with over 200 trained operatives.
My Dorm is a "happy game" with only the essential doses of drama. I prefer the characters laughing than crying.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, that's why he never mentioned who love and hate pineapple pizza, because it's the biggest drama he could do, and we don't want that over that atrocious thing.

that`s one thing to call them, i mean technically only two are currently trained in warfare tactics, i can see it now meemaw and aunt betty master assasin`s :ROFLMAO:
Let's say some of the other ladies can have a supporting role in the Army:
Martha and Norah: Food service (cooking). You don't want Meemaw on this job.
Eileen and Erika: Food service (serving)
Meemaw: Deserts (specialized in ice cream) and barracks building.
Samantah and Betty: Medical service
Alexia: MP
Daphne and Scarlett: General Staff
Maddie: Uniform confection (No one wants Emma in that position)
Lisa: Diplomacy
Kiara: Culture
Megan: Music
Kate: Drooling (for amphibious operations in dry areas)
Simone and Debbie: Lifeguard (to prevent anyone from drowning in Kate's drool)
Saira: Eye-popping enemies
I should look for positions for Kim and Emma. Kim would look great in a parade, though.

The ladies in the shooting lessons (for now) are: Scarlett, Daphne, Betty, Emma, Saira, Martha, Kim, Lisa, Sam, and Kate. We know Norah knows how to shoot. Alexia too. Since Lisa knows how to shoot a rifle, we can guess Debbie knows too. The rest are a mystery (for now).

Daphne can "serve" on my General Staff any time she wants to.

Kim: Public Relations

Emma: Special Ops (emotional traps and redecorating enemy fortifications)
I'd like to imagine Kim as Army Representative for big events in Public Relations like parades

Emma I think is wasted as simple decorator and I can't see her as private soldier digging holes in trenches (not even with a pink shovel)

However, I don't see any difficulty in making her an artillery(wo)man who, together with the explosive mixture of artillery shells, also adds colored confetti (made with a material that disturbs electronic equipment, duh)

Funny. A strange army. Only back services. There is no one to fight. ;)

Fair point. They're basically the hottie-hot-hotten-tottie Quartermaster Corps.
;)

Amanda, Eva, and the rest of the clones ;). And even the rest of the clones go only as cheerleaders. Amanda and Eva are an army by themselves.
You could nickname that duo The Cavalry...

Oh, and... just thinking out loud here... if you were to brew up an Amazon-esque body builder type (future student, perhaps?) that was even taller than Debbie, then you could nickname her She-Hulk, and she could deal with hostile adversaries like this:
