Seasons are technical splits due to size.
Season 1 had 17 updates before it reached the limit.
Season 2 had 8.
Season 3 is five right now, and I hope I can squeeze a couple or three more.
More than Seasons, I think the most important thing is Acts, as explained here. We are reaching the end of Act II right now.
Act I had 11 updates, and Act II has been running for 19 updates. I hope to finish it in 3-4 more updates (regardless of whether there is a change of season).
Then the interlude, Act III, and finally the epilogue.
I said some time ago that the game will be around 40 (numbered) updates. So 15 more (+/- 5) is a good guess.

That's correct - I didn't have time to open the game and check the gallery and my memory told me Scarlett had joined in as well - I think I was confusing matters with the awesome "reenactment" of the scene after the DnD game had finished, with the "Scarlett isn't included because..." part of it.
