Not for English speakers when it comes to ethnicity ;)
They call Indians Desi, not Asians. For them, Asians are what to us Spanish speakers are Far East Asians.
It was a mistake I made at the start of the game, and I was corrected.
Since I'm not a native English speaker, my knowledge of the word "Desi" is very recent. My English has always been more British than American and I never heard that word until I started developing My Dorm.
I guess you are right, and I was corrected by American players. Since the game is set in the US, I will keep using it that way.
For me, I never heard desi being used until it was used by people from India. And I've always considered India to be part of South Asia.

I read about it. It's sad that Steam finally lost its battle.
My Dorm is pre-patched, but the default mode is "Clones" so I think it can be safe in the first phase of this new witch hunt. It's also easy to de-patch it. I hope that, if Steam go against patched games, they give us the chance to de-patch it.
I find this blatant abuse of power and have filed a complaint with our national consumer authority. Hopefully if enough people report it, it will go to a European level were they will fall under something like the DSA. Who are they to abuse their power as big payment processors to force their own morals on others? They should just do what they're supposed to; process all legal payments.

For now I think you're safe but we do need to try and stop this. Steam is too big for developers to avoid if they don't want to risk incurring a significant income loss.

I've seen some speculation that what's caused this shift from Steam finally is that the UK Online Safety bill (translation: censorship) goes into effect next week.

It specifically pushes the responsibility for vaguely defined "harmful content" onto ISPs and payment processors, which is exactly what was listed in Steam's new rule.

This is all rather absurd. There are far worse things than incest. Would you like to talk about pedophilia and necrophilia?
EDIT: I was dating my cousin for years before my mom and aunt brutally intervened. And I don't see myself as a monster.

But those, and bestiality and more have already had a turn as flavor of the month and are already hard to find.
The questions are: Would the payment processors ban every Game of Thrones content? Or is HBO too big to mess with them? Every Bible content (a lot of incest there)? Every Roman/Greek mythology content (incest, bestiality...)? I can continue...

It is never over Morals, it is all about money, AVN are listed by Banks and financial orgs as High risk inversions, meaning they charge more for credit etc etc.

Unfortunately, their hypocrisy is immune to these arguments. (also, pretty sure they'd be happy if Greek mythology was given the ban-hammer ...)

Yes, they changed Scarletts hair, I like her last haircut, although it is subjective, there is a post a few pages back where all 3 hairstyles are shown, it is by Trope95 himself.
