I am currently playing through without banging Meemaw or Betty, and have not suffered any noticeable debilitating side effects. Ask your doctor if NoGilf is right for you.
Betty I could take or leave - but that's more to do with the results of excessive pizza consumption than her age. But I'm closer to Meemaw's age than Norah's...

To be honest, I don't really like Maddie. I kept her, but I don't like her. I was wondering: Trope95 , if I hadn't kept her, would this scene have been in the story?

Or would it have been excluded from the story if I hadn't kept her?
The scene would be there even if you aren't in a relationship with Maddie. Maddie works in the best clothing store in town (more on that and on Maddie in 0.27) and is an aspiring dress designer, so Martha, Emma, Debbie, Lisa, and other girls would continue going there and would befriend her. Her turning point was at the birthday party. She was invited by Daphne and Emma because of the DnD game. She felt out of place for most of the party, especially because she misunderstood Erika about the nature of the topless party, but she felt at home during the DnD game.
Once the DnD game finished, she was one more in the group of young girls. Emma could be pushy once she discovered Maddie was a designer who completed her "fashion gang" (model, photographer, artist, and designer).
In 0.27 you will see more about how the rest of the girls feel about Maddie (especially Lisa, and tangentially Eva, Emma, and Meemaw).

It's on the 4th page of threads with most views (filtered to only Ren'py games) and in the 5th page for most reactions. 30 games per page. So not too famous yet.

Well, I understand what you mean. It's not that I dislike her, otherwise I would have rejected her. However, I did not appreciate the blackmail attempt. That scene really upset me. It took a lot of willpower not to reject her. Besides that, I do not find her to be as complex a character as others.

EDIT: One thing I really liked about Maddie is that she decided to find out if she's pregnant the traditional, romantic way. I'm expecting a great scene when that happens. Otherwise, I'm not convinced by the character at all.

You know you could just skip the blackmail attempt? Just don't peek at Martha and it wont show up. Doesn't change anything else.
