This is where I chime in and say thanks for a very, very detailed changelog that should be the status quo for every VN on this site.
I always thought the changelog and the table of contents are a "commercial" about the next update. I should tell players what they will find when it's released. Paying players will decide if they will keep their subscription or not based on it, even if they will upgrade or downgrade it because they want to play the update asap. Not paying players will know what to expect when it arrives at the free tier. Some will even start a subscription based on it. Others will make anticipation grow.

And, equally important, players can better understand why I increased development time to go from:
v.0.10B
Words English 21.010
Words Spanish 19.474
Dialogue lines 1.511
Still renders 1.259
Animations 24
Animated frames 1.545
Total renders 2.804
Days 41

To:
v.0.26
Words English 28.652
Words Spanish 27.359
Dialogue Lines 2.070
Still renders 1.864
Animations 35
Animated frames 10.720
Total renders 12.584
Days 55

Than if I say something like:
v.0.10B
9 scenes, 21,000 words, and around 3,000 renders.
v.0.26:
16 scenes, around 29,000 words, and 13,000 renders.
(I never understood why some devs say "around X renders or words". Don't they know how many renders they did or how much they wrote? There are tools for that.)

Also, telling players the release date (so, the length of the development cycle) shows them when they can expect a new update approximately. If I'm releasing every 53 days on average, something very bad needs to happen to go for 4 months without any update.
(I also never understood why some devs hide that info. Or perhaps saying "400 renders and 10,000 words in 6 months" isn't appealing to them.)

I see surprised reactions, and I want to clarify something about the previous post.
Yes, there are players who downgrade (or cancel) their tiers when they see the table of contents (others upgrade them). In the latest update, one of the higher-tier players told me that he was cancelling his subscription because "there has been too much GILF content in the latest updates and having a scene with Meemaw makes the update disappointing."
He finally only downgraded the tier to one in the middle when I told him I wasn't going to remove it.

I think players should have all the information about the dev they are supporting (and I don't mean only economic support). I try to be as transparent as I can. I try to justify my work and my choices. And any one of you can go to my Patreon and SS pages to see how much I'm earning (raw, before fees, taxes, and expenses).

Hiding information only creates distrust. But that's only my opinion, and it looks like I'm in the minority among devs.

I have nothing constructive to add to this, just chuckled for way longer than appropriate after reading it.

I don't understand these things. I remain attached to the story, not to the animation of the month. For me, the added value are all the scenes between one sex scene and another. We are all different. I can't wait to read the story of Eva's necklace, for example.
