I agree. Even if I try to make the lewd scenes "emotional" and linked to the character's growth, what moves the story forward are the scenes between the sex scenes. Without them, the lewd scenes are only empty porn.
I learned it the hard way. When I did Saira's first scene in the prologue, I was ultra happy thinking I could do some pixels looking human, both in movements/poses and in reactions.
When Eileen's first sex scene in the forest and Norah's first sex scene (in her room, not counting the shower one) arrived, I discovered Saira's scene was "crap" because there wasn't any attachment to the character. The MC was attached to her, but not the player.
Since then, I tried for every lewd scene to serve a purpose. It's not only "let's fuck" except in some scenes. Special attention to Debbie's and Maddie's scenes in the next update.
However, some players are complaining that the characters talk too much during the lewd scenes. :shrugs:
We wouldn't know about Eva's necklace without those conversations. Or about Megan's insecurities. Or about Martha's incest fetish. Or about Norah/Erika bonding through sex. Or...

I have no kids of my own, but Martha got the date of birth on the same day (12) my wife and I moved in together with my wife's birthday month (June), since I didn't want to do more birthday parties. Having one in the game was nice. Having a second one would be boring.
Kiara's birthday is the only birthday (besides Erika/Emma/Daphne) to be in the game timeline (Day 30, August 3rd) before the trip to Aruba. What will happen?
