The premise of these games is great and the execution is good. The problem is that some Episodes, especially in this series, are an absolute nightmare. Particularly the early ones. They get better as the dev got better but the first couple of ones I'd describe as inhuman even. The problem isn't just that they are incredibly grindy but a lot of bugs and inconsistencies ruin the total experience. You spend an incredible amount of time trying to decipher if it's a bug or you. A lot of times you'll need to repeat events without showing an progress so you'll skip them thinking you're done. The fact that you got a counter and a To Do list to help you through are quite a condemnation.

Still, I think it's worth keeping with these games as I'm sure these issues will be fixed with more experience.

Maybe, maybe not. I give credit were is due and criticize what's wrong. Just today I had to quit the last part 19-24 because a few events in Ep19 I got softlocked and I couldn't progress. I could skip the episode but what's the point. I've seen a couple of posts were the Dev talks about the game being hard, needing time and effort and patience (which are all fine), but he never acknowledges how the bugs and the whole 2nd guessing yourself (if it's a bug, a hidden event or you're simple blind) takes a huge toll on the enjoyment of these games. As I've said, the premise and slow burn are great but he should stop and smell the coffee. The fact you can skip episodes and there's a To-Do list and WT mods with the exact path are a condemnation of the poor quality of coding/handling the events. I've played everything else and run relatively smooth, no softlocks. But this series is quite bad atm. I hope he fixes them or someone that knows does. It's a shame to make such a long running series and fuck it up now.

I for myself decided to ignore this game from ep. 19 up to ep. 25 completely after the dev said he is going to return to young Bob in ep.26. Everthing between is to me as chewy as a bubblegum and boring like hell: A pure waste of time.

We all have our preferences :cool: I just make games that my supporters like - not that some freebees like. Young Bob will partly be back in episode 26 and more in episode 27, so you can just skip for the next couple of months.

I'm not mad :)Just want to remind you that unofficial versions here are not uploaded by me and to be honest -I don't think it's fair to blame me for bugs in non public /unofficial versions. I have just uploaded the public version of episode 1 - 24. If there are bugs - I'll immediately try to fix them. In the unofficial versions - honestly I want to spend my time on other things.

I guess everything that is happening g is part of Bob's early life, but shouldn't the grandpa series be given it's own title?
"Grampa gets some young fun", or "young pussy is the best pussy".

Better / more realistic these titles:
"Granpa will never feel a pussy again"
"Before Granpa will have some fun he gonna lose his third teeth"
"Granpa's only fun is visiting Granma on the cemetary"
"Granpa won't even get an antique pussy anymore"

I really liked the ep19 version,
I also like the idea of a slow paced grind game
but the feeling of being stuck constantly is kind of a big put off
The ingame hints needs to be better

Unfortunately some of the versions had a bunch of bugs with triggers to set objectives as done being the objective after it, and some typos, so this might hamper your progress somewhat unless you have access to URM52 or the console (or both). I Believe Bob/CeLaVie recently updated all the versions with potential fixes so they might work better.
