No area to enter the code in the main menu. Tried Substar and Normal.
Enabled console with both versions. Tried "Freedom" didn't work.
Do you just drop the patch now, rather than using a code?
There isn't a 00console file so I'm not sure what it should be targeting.

What changes with the patch, like what characters?

If using a save from before that was patched then you don't need it.
If using it for the first time just follow the instruction on the OP, only for the patreon build of the game.
Code is only needed on the patreon build of the game.
SubscribeStar is pre-patched.

As for the incest its only the mother/daughter that allows for them to eat each other out as far as I can tell.

you still have to install the incest file.
the game itself is not pre-patched.
but after installing that patch, overwrithing exsisting files with new patch will have the incest patch working for future updates.

there's patreon version with no incest, and SS version with incest, you're probably playing patreon version, so you still need incest patch.
