It's not new. Plenty of VN's have been made using Sims 4. It's no different than people using Honey Select or Koikatsu to make VN's. Not everyone is experienced with, or has the PC needed to render using Daz.

I'm not gonna get in the 2nd half of your comment too much. I played base Sims 4, and I didn't have those issue.

Why play someone elses world in Sims 4 when you can experience and create your own and it would be 100x times better the experience

Well, this is a pirate site, so most people aren't paying for anything. But those that do pay are paying for the dev's original story. If people want to make their own story in Sims, they can do that. But those that want someone else to create a story will lean on others to make the story, like with this game.

And again, this is no different than creating a VN with Honey Select or Koikatsu. I would bet that around 40-50% of the games on this site use Honey Select or Koikatsu. That's using another game to make a VN. It's no different than using the Sims.

No hate to you at all man. I mention it because I try nearly all games that are in this genre. If I was an active game developer, I would want to know that the way I'm developing a game is alienating my potential audience.

I'm not saying that means you should stop developing until you get an improved setup. I am saying it because while Daz3D and Honey Select have been used for renders in games ranging from great to horrible, I have never, ever seen a game made with Sims renders succeed.

It is the touch of death for games, because it is an immediate visual cue to experienced audiences that the developer (1) does not have the resources to create high fidelity renders,(2) has not leveraged much personal investment into development and as such is likely to abandon the project quickly, and (3) has little to no developing experience.

It's not a personal attack; it's constructive criticism. If one of my employees continuously arrives to work late and calls off sick a lot, I know they are not serious about the job. If a developer renders in Sims graphics, I know they are not serious about development.
