I think I have to skip this just because of how damn ugly the boobs are.
Like fried eggs, sunny side up, but the sun is setting.

She is cute though. I'd tell her to keep her shirt or tank top on, and claim having having a CFNM-fetish (clothed female, naked male).

Looks like a Windows Defender standard false positive detection

What is Win32 Maluri a CL?

A! cl is a classification used by Windows Defender to identify and categorize threats that share common characteristics. Defender states that this threat has the ability to carry out various actions on your device as directed by a malicious actor

I use BitDefender, no problem downloading

I tend towards the more hardcore stuff, but lover bondage fetish discovery is always a favorite of mine. I hope it hits that combo of kink and wholesome well.

version 0.3 already? This is a pretty new game isn't it, I thought I read stuff about the dev dropping the Covenent game because of motivation, are they a lot more invested into this it seems?

I wouldn't say that Covenent was shelved due to a lack of motivation. Rather, the Dev started Covenent in parallel with the final chapters of MIST so that there'd be a seamless transition from one game to the next.

As it turned out, Covenent wasn't to everyone's taste, including 395's tastes. About a year after its launch, 395 started expressing doubts about the project. It seemed like a great idea, but now that it was a thing...hmmmm. For a while it looked like he was going to attempt to overhaul it, but eventually he threw in the towel.

As someone that is involved in the creative side of things, I was really impressed by this decision. It's a cruel reality that sometimes you can have a really great idea and then see the thing fall apart before your eyes when you try to bring it to life. It sure isn't fair, but it's a thing that happens sometimes. While I was disappointed to hear about 395's decision regarding Covenent's future, it was likely for the best. There's nothing worse than being shackled to a creative project that you no longer believe in. To some that decision may have seemed flaky, but I frankly think it was a high-integrity move. It takes a lot of courage to say, "You know what? I'm better than this and I need to admit that I was wrong."

Is it accurate to say that the cause of death for Covenent was motivation? Yeah, in the same way that it's not wrong to say that pneumonia was the cause of death for the cancer patient.

Am I the only one that finds this game shockingly bare bones and unambitious compared to the dev's last two games? I was there for the early releases of MIST. It just felt like it had so much more scope and more going on than this does. Even at the same early stage. The girl is very pretty though.

I feel you.

On the other hand, it's pretty clear that the cult that they're running from isn't very happy about their escape and it's lurking in the shadows. While the prior two games used standard high-takes video game plot lines (things start hopelessly terrible and it's incumbent upon you, our hero, to solve this massive problem in a long, linear arc in which you slowly transform from a mere pleb to a near god--done to death over 50 years), this game seems to be drawing out of the more traditional novel/movie school of plotting (establish a story, in act I; create a problem in act II; resolve the problem in act III).

Currently, there's no telling where this story will go. It could be a quick and dirty exploration of light bondage with the protagonists quickly giving the slip to the cult and living happily ever after while enjoying their light bondage kink. Or, this could be a multi-year story that sees them gradually taking down the cult and likely recruiting/liberating people from the cult. Who knows?

The dev is talented and has a track record for telling a quality story--and having the integrity and humility to tear it up and start over when necessary. It'll be fun to see where this slow-burn start ends up.
