You're missing the point....
Its not about avoiding this or that but rather how the plot didn't bridge it up properly with how the events unfold.
It just happens suddenly and at the most awkward possible moment which it just feels like the script took a 180 and decides "time to force speedup the NTR" when it has been well paced before that.
It didn't make sense there for Sana to suddenly do a threesome unless theres a scenario to support it, especially not after her defending herself from gangrape, telling MC she doesnt want to go back up to where the miners was and MC taking a shot for her. Sana has high sexual libido but she's also not a dumb slut that ignores her MC since she actually does loves MC. Its why I say they kinda killed Sana's character there abruptly.
It would easily be fixed if there was a scene or dialogue showing us she was drugged or blackmailed/tricked into the threesome for whatever reasons be it to save MC or her falling into lust after being tricked etc etc, so many ways to make it make sense.

Allegedly the other girl used that herb on Sana that puts her in heat. It is shown explicitly later in city 3 in the inn. But there are other inconsistencies in city 2, e.g. when she gets the waitress job.

Thanks, that clears up stuff for me regarding that particular scenario but yea reading through the thread for abit I can see similar criticisms regarding the plot around the tavern gangbang and also city 3 and 4 which is a shame because it felt like theres a good NTR plot brewing earlier on.
Might give the game a try again but ignoring the plot entirely.

What put me off the most is the omnipresent humiliation. All characters except the gf and that lewd milf elf are unreasonably mean to the MC. I recently tried this game again but couldn't get far because this weird meanness annoyed me even more this time, maybe I got spoiled with better games since then. Sana was my first NTR game after all. I recommend this game:

it's similar in its concept but the vibe is much better and there's much more consistency and logic in the corruption process.

I might be misremembering (the chance is high) but I believe Headpat Games once said something along the lines of: "NTR is avoidable, but people who try to go for the non-NTR path will not find it satisfying."

I think HG meant that there isn't really any fleshed-out content for the non-ntr path of the game... and I mean, come on. It's a split-screen NTR game, I wouldn't expect them to funnel resources into the non-ntr route beyond the fact that you can avoid ntr (which not all games include).

While I agree that the town 2 tavern's events are an outlier, Sana's character is otherwise consistent around 95% of the time. Her lewdness value dictates what she's willing to do, and it's in-game lore that foxgirls are literally physically and mentally incapable of resisting a big cock (this is strongly hinted at several times, but of course the main character is unaware of the fact).

Great post but I'm afraid you gave it much more thought than the dev did. I bet he had some vague idea of how lewdness level affects Sana's behavior, but he never thought of making it consistent and believable. Which is a shame as corruption is the main game mechanics here and if it is broken then it means the whole game kinda is..

Sana's mom in the max lewdness/no cheating partner ending also kinda lays out the detail that Fox girls of her bloodline are pre-inclined to become massive sluts because that's where their power comes from.

Yeah I wouldn't mind if only some of the characters did but the fact that basically of them constantly bring up how much they hate him aside from the barbarian guy who seems to vaguely like him but just thinks he's annoying it feels way too omnipresent. I was annoyed by it and could mostly filter it out but some stuff was just super weird to me like how Fief gets saved from guards by the MC when you first meet her and immediately despises him before even really knowing anything about him other than he's a naive generic hero guy. It would've at least been nice to have an antagonist that outright liked and maybe even considered the MC their friend but was still fucking Sana to keep her lust under control or something like that to sorta balance it out.

He's named Anon for a reason, the MC is there to provide a vehicle for Sana to cheat on, despite her love for him, though as noted Foxgirls especially of her lineage are just sex crazed. Anon is looked down upon and dismissed by everyone, except the Barbarian guy who at least tries to defer to him, though Sana is irresistible and he gives in. Sana loves him in her own way, but he is made to be forgettable and pretty much stepped on by everyone.

What inconsistencies? It's heavily implied she cheated on him back at the guild, as well. Sana is just a cheerful slut who can't keep her legs closed.

If you want to talk about mistakes/missed potential then my #1 gripe is that the corruption system is not deep enough. The present stages are fine, but I'd add two more, further layers to it:

- Sana starts leaving the party herself under blatant excuses in order to have some fun.
- Sana starts corrupting the people around. For example, setting up a breeding house for the slimes in the first town, to which she then invites other women.

And if you want to be really ambitious, add a final one, that would actually be very difficult to achieve:
- Sana actively tries to get Anon into cuckolding.
