It's all pretty much already been summed up by others here. But I won't be playing or supporting purely because of the terrible controls.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly . I know there issues about autoplay during sex scenes but honestly I don't remember anything else that I haven't fixed already. If that was it, it will definitely be revisted if not can you specifically tell you what you mean

This is just one example of how it's already summed up here.

Still a pain to use compared to renpy VNs while having no features to set it apart from those. Manually doing next message appears to not be an option anymore? It was really poor functioning last time so it's not really a loss, but there's a delay on pause, play, and fast forward, so it still feels bad.
I see things refining and improving in general, progress is certainly happening, but it remains one of the few times a VN has bad controls for me.
I don't feel like talking about the characterization and writing. I hope the dev is having fun doing it, I think I sense that.

That was a comment after 1.2 and already fixed (delay issue). 1.3 default is manual unless an action scene. I plan to address action scene logic in 2.0.
