A shame the wife is not a lil more cute because while the story keeps you immerse a hotter sex scene should impact pretty hard.
I can see the line followed make appropriated exactly this kind of wife but only her face, some lifting and collagen in lips, here and there... It could be such a fap...
I don't think I've actually said anything really about Vivian's looks before, but this has prompted me to.
Vivian isn't my usual style for an LI. I think she's pretty, but not even close to stunning, and I'm not a fan of short hair on women as a rule (it's not a turn off, I just
much prefer long hair). She's the sort of woman who I would appreciate seeing in passing, but would forget soon after. And I think that's the point. In my opinion, which could obviously be miles off base, Vivian is pretty perfectly and
deliberately crafted to fit the role - she's a housewife (not the literal stay-at-home definition) and a teacher.
She has a couple of students crushing on her because she's pretty, but it's not every male student, because she doesn't look like a pornstar or model and/or dress all seductive, etc. The same with her son's friends - they're probably crushing on her a bit more because they have the proximity factor too, they can see her outside of a professional setting, and can even hug her and maybe push the boundaries a little by getting a bit "accidentally" handsy while they do it. And who hasn't heard of teens/young adults crushing on their friend's mom or dad? It's actually quite a natural and common thing.
But then you put Vivian in a certain situation, and she is undeniably sexy. The combination of that change from loving wife and teacher to basically a sex symbol, and the corruption and (initial) hiding of what's happening, just makes the situation and the character so many levels hotter than she has any right to be. I think she's perfect for the role she's "playing", and the role is perfect for her. It's not even that she's stunningly beautiful but hiding it under frumpy clothes, no make-up, and a bad hairstyle, like they always do in the movies then give her a glow-up to show that she can be the belle of the ball - her additional sexiness comes from her persona and the situation, and then once you see it, it's always going to be there.
A lot of that is down to the way the scenes are done as well though, as putting the same model and situation in many other games just wouldn't work as the sex scenes aren't given nearly as much care and focus - it's an extreme example, but one game I play would have the scenes go from a quick build up to a quick animation of them fucking in just one position, and then they're finished and moving on with the next bit of dialogue.
I just think we have the perfect combination of story and model here - I'm deliberately trying to imagine how it would be if instead of Vivian we had someone like Anna from A Perfect Marriage. Obviously it's difficult, but I just don't think it would work half as well. The scenes would be hot because they're hot regardless of what the model looks like, but Anna just wouldn't have that same sort of situational sexiness for me, and it would be obious from the start that everyone is going to be making eyes (and moves) at her.
So yeah, I'm never going to rate Vivian as one of my top LIs in terms of looks, but in terms of sexiness, she's a hell of a lot higher up, and would fare better than a good bunch of the "most attractive" LIs in the games I've played. IMO, the dev understands what makes a woman sexy, and I'm glad he didn't make Vivian the conventional stunner that most devs would, by default, make their leading lady.
