I wonder if they will make it before GRRM....You're going to be waiting decades. The game is approaching nine years old, the story for act one has been done for two years, and they've been filling shit in ever since. The first act, which is a stand alone game, may be done this year but act two probably won't be done until the mid 2030s, and there's a planned third act.
Project Update
I've updated the main page and rebranded v0.2 as Chapter 1. Going forward each update will be a stand alone executable game. Next update is Chapter 2. There will be 5 chapters total for the entire game. The reason for the change is to limit compression of the game and so I can have some control over distribution.
THERE IS NO NEW CONTENT IN CHAPTER 1. Bug fixes only.
Chapter two is coming soon. I am hoping to get it to a proofreader by the beginning of June. I'm not sure how much time he'll need but I suspect it won't be much. So I'll budget another week to get that back and do what ever clean up I need to do. My goal is a June 6th release date. That's the plan. Don't hold me to it.
Thanks.
what do you mean "less content with more quality?" ?Will there be more or less content? Or will there be less content with more quality? Could you please release a small image when we are very close to the update?
Thanks Dev for the update. It's starting to smell good!Project Update

Ngl 5 chapters seems short but then again going by your name it seems there's other stories you'd like too tell question is are they also going to be ntr orientated?Project Update

It's possible that Ch.2 contains a 128K super super super super HD HD HD sexy picture but only one or maybe two of themwhat do you mean "less content with more quality?" ?![]()
(IMO) Five good-length chapters to tell a complete story is far better than an unknown number of chapters to tell an ongoing story that we have no idea when (or even if) it wil be completed. The dev already knows how the game will end, and there's probably some filling in to do, but he likely knows most of the key things that happen on the way there too. I get the impression most devs don't have that luxury, so they're having to think things up on the spot, so to speak, as they write new chapters and develop new paths (and sometimes as a result, the game starts to run away with them...).Ngl 5 chapters seems short but then again going by your name it seems there's other stories you'd like too tell question is are they also going to be ntr orientated?
Meh i disagree the best ntr games are relatively long. While i do agree that sometimes games that go on for a while have problems its not due to it "running away with them" as you said. Also they will always outshine & out do short games. Top 10 dare i say maybe even top twenty ntr games aren't short. Short games suffer from compaction so to speak. Sure you get an ending but leaves much to be desired & things that could have been explored such as scenes.(IMO) Five good-length chapters to tell a complete story is far better than an unknown number of chapters to tell an ongoing story that we have no idea when (or even if) it wil be completed. Oh, I've definitely seen them where the game has gone like that and led to massive delays (e.g., Jessica O'Neill's) or losing control of all the paths and options (e.g., TACOS) - though of course I can't say that's the sole reason in either case. Generally, I also feel that they tend to lose their shine a bit once all the boundaries have come down.Meh i disagree the best ntr games are relatively long. I don't think we can compare it length-wise as this is more a story rather than a game. Its not an Office wife or Our red string to require bigger length to develop the intended plot. There are no choices/actions to take rathen following the storytelling of the author/dev. Would it make sense to give it a Tolkien sized story for this type of genre?Oh, I've definitely seen them where the game has gone like that and led to massive delays (e.g., Jessica O'Neill's) or losing control of all the paths and options (e.g., TACOS) - though of course I can't say that's the sole reason in either case. Personally though, I don't think longer = better and I definitely don't think shorter = worse. We're talking the number of updates as well, not the size of those updates. Here, we're getting a good amount of story in each update (small sample size so far, of course), and it's also kinetic, so it's easier there too, as there aren't the multiple paths to track. I don't think we're seeing "compaction" here - though again we don't know how the remaining updates will go. I have no concerns on that front, based on what I've seen so far.
