I agree. I don't want her to just start banging any and everyone. I think it would detract from the overall story. However I think I can see a bit of "Giving Vivian a taste of even more forbidden fruit" and have her end up blowing a few guys but then she threatens to cut any and all ties with him regardless of the consequences and he backs down and doesn't have her go all out on other people and merely parades her around to others. At least until she ends up hearing that she is just the "Next One In Line" when it comes to Christian and she wanted to feel special and now she's just seen as another conquest and he will soon get bored with her and toss her aside...which causes her to regret everything she has done up to that point and grovels to Hutch in order to try and get back what they had before she started all of this mess. But Hutch doesn't relent and ends up just ignoring her because Christian has been sending him information on what they're doing and eventually just sends a package of pictures and videos of the things they've done and he just ends up walking away from everything when it comes to Vivian.

I think that stall scene was much more profound than we realize and it's going to be a key factor down the line.

I completely agree with you up to the last sentence. It was never specified that the "pass" was just for Christian. Personally, I believe that Hutch intends it just for Christian and their "work" together, but it can absolutely be taken to mean "free pass" – Vivian asks herself "Did he just open our marriage?" It's absolutely implied that both of them are only talking in terms of Christian, but it's also absolutely open to interpretation in the way it is worded.

Is that an oversight? Is that just me being too analytical? Or is it clever wording by the dev to give Vivian the fallback she needs in the instance of further partners in the game?

Again, until something throws it out, I am of the opinion that Christian will be the only one Vivian sleeps with (I'm erring on the side of no sex with Hutch either), however I also believe that the wording here gives the dev license should it turn out that Vivian does end up having sex with the mechanic/Rupert/Marcel/the twins/anyone we've not yet met... Under the umbrella of miscommunication during that "talking code" conversation, if she needed to, Vivian could easily argue that Hutch opened their marriage wide, meaning anyone, as opposed to narrow, meaning just Christian.

No...I don't think he will. He loves Vivian too much to end up going to be with anyone else. However I think he will take comfort and solace in her arms and the "mothering" (can't think of how I really want to word that, but that comes the closest to 'comfort' in my head right now) that she will offer and help soothe him through the entire process. I was one that was on team "Bang someone else, Hutch!" but I don't think he will. I think that would honestly ruin him as a character given how he didn't just instantly charge into the backyard that night at dinner and just confront her then and there. He gave no indication that he would end up being unfaithful as everything in him is trying to make a life for him to feel worthy of Vivian...so I seriously doubt he goes and beds anyone else.

I would like to think that if there were ever a time that he wanted to "use her as a plaything/puppet" that would be the beginning of the end of them "working together". After all, the implication was to "work" from Hutch's eyes and "work" meant "bang me like a drum" from Vivian's eyes.

There are plenty of games out there where there was a wife that was seduced from her husband and just turned into the local doorknob where anyone and everyone can have a turn and the Dev already stated that he wanted this to be more like a movie with very explicit sex scenes. So I imagine he defiles her in many ways and makes it harder and harder for her to hold onto her promise of "always come home to you" and she'll spend days or even weeks away from him and that will culminate in something awful for both of them.

It's a rough place to be whenever you know your husband saw you fuck his boss and willingly at that. Plus all the dialogue exchange they had throughout that time in the bathroom and how both of them manipulated her into not feeling guilty any more but to be okay with what happened.
