And about Hutch. Did he really lost contracts or maybe sold them to competitors? He is good with numbers, better than all other people in company (acording to Chris). What if he is selling company's secrets?
I replay only to this sentence of yours because in your other sentences you are repeating and repeating all over again your usual nonsense
Look, this hypothesis you're talking about is Vivian's idea, and she's much smarter than you.
Do you think that if Hutch had contacts to whom he could sell the "clients of the company" that fired him, he would talk to his wife like that... and here we are at the beginning and Vivian has never met her husband's boss.
I hope you can read Vivian dialog with her husband
Hutch's contacts are on the computer that belongs to the company... Do you think an employee about to be fired could copy files belonging to the company without the boss noticing? look that selling the clients of a financial company is a crime and you get caught forever ... because the first ones to be investigated are the ones fired
In fact, Hutch says
Code:
w "There are always options."
show homea62
w "What other firms might be hiring? What about the one that stole your account?"
show homea63
h "I'm the guy they stole the account {i}from{/i}!"
show homea64
h "They won't hire me... they'll see me as weak."
show homea65
w "Well, who else then?"
show homea66
h "There is no one else. It's us and GSA... we're the only two firms in this city doing this."
I can only say you that your assumption about the future in this story will never happen as the author said
the center of the story is Vivian
this is the classic triangle relationship at this moment.
that bottom part would be nice.
That bottom part would be senseless and without any sense in the story dynamics
Sorry if I repeat the author post
Is there a main character and who is it? Vivian the center of the story for sure. Everything essentially revolves around her and creates the scenarios the others respond to. But I don't thinks she's really all that interesting, to be honest. Her motivates, while leading to sexy adventures, are not that complicated. To say that Hutch is more interesting (but maybe not the main character), might be a better way to describe him. Vivian gets her inner monologue as a short cut. Some things are to complicated to express in still renders or would require more extensive blocks of dialogue that would turn off the viewer. While I don't 'identify myself as the main male protagonist' in these games, as a guy I still empathize with them. I guess my goal is to have the viewer (nearly all men) to have some connection to him. I don't want to give him an inner monologue because I hope that the reader will do that for themselves. To deduce his mindset from his actions/reactions. Or to just let it be a mystery. I'm not educated in story telling. Maybe this is a flawed idea.
the interesting thing in this post is that he is talking about a single male protagonist,
I think is Hutch but in my opinion there are 2 main male protagonists... And my empathy is different for the two men because they are very different.
Hutch is a loser and I don't understand how he managed to marry Vivian, so for now I think he has no hope. (maybe Addison will be his hope?)
Christian, on the other hand, is a successful man, and even Hutch admits it. (In fact, he knew very well what would happen the day his wife met Chris... Hutch prevented this from happening for six years, which tells me that he knows his wife very well and what she was like before she married him.)
This is classic knowing a train wreck was coming and you are just waiting for it.
The disaster is already happened in the game...
There are three main characters, so I think the disaster will only affect one of the two men, and at this stage I think it will be Hutch, partly because for him the disaster began the day his wife spoke to her husband's boss... . In any case, one person's disaster can become a good opportunity for others.
in my opinion I believe that things could get better for Hutch only if he finds a connection with Addison she is the only chance for him... this could also trigger Vivian's jealousy.
But frankly, I prefer to wait because I don't like to make predictions about what the author hasn't published yet.
But I always like to think positively, and I believe that this story is dramatic, but in all dramas there is the possibility of a happy ending for everyone... you just have to avoid seeing everything in a bigoted and moralistic way... or rather, everything is just black or just white... or again, Vivian is a slut, so she will forever be a slut,(also in her past?)
or Hutch is a loser, so he will always be a loser.
In short i think dramas can have a good ending for everyone.
And as Vivian said:
Code:
w "There are always options."
