618 comment pages. Only two updates. How can this game be so successful? The MILF is beautiful, but the story seems to be more of the same. A husband with no personality has his wife stolen by his rich and arrogant boss. What did you like so much about this game?

It is a bit strange that it has this many pages true. A big reason is probably that it is a game where people like to theorise about what's going to happen. And then with the Dev dropping in every now and again to drop different teasers. it keeps attention and interaction rather high. With people trying to figure out the meaning behind everything. It's quite smart honestly.
Another big reason IMO, is that I've never really seen much in this thread get deleted and "cleaned up" like I have in others.
Like it's honestly a challenge to not get your comment deleted in some threads, such as the Desert Stalker one for example. Whereas here, it seems more of a challenge to actually get something removed.
The cinematic writing and presentation are just leagues above the competition. And true netorare is very rare when it comes to western AVNs.

The message count is all about a struggle between players who want this game to be exactly like all the others plus more of the same and players who see suggestion in the game that it will be quite unique in the end, we hope. That plus comments that SC has made here to that effect.
Your estimation of the characters is not necessarily so right now.

The high-level synopsis might be "more of the same", but I think the production values here are quite different to other games that have a similar theme. This is more of a "cinematic experience" with the way the story is visually told.
Oh, there's been plenty deleted, but it's more in terms of individual posts, rather than full purges (even though sometimes I'd say a purge might be needed here).

I do think the constant teasers left by SC are the main reason this thread has blown up compared to most. Anytime this thread dies down, as soon as he drops in with some random pictures. Brings it back to life and easily adds another 10+ pages of discussion...
As for the removal. I'm only speaking from what I've seen. Just this last couple of days I've seen 2-3 pages worth of stuff getting removed from each of 4 different threads. I've never seen such levels of 'destruction' here.

It's not that it's a recurring plot in games, it's just how it's carried out in every sense, from the atmosphere to the music, the dialogue, how comfortable it feels to be playing, and also completely free, 600+ pages for only two updates, it's not enough to demonstrate how good the game is

When something's good, you don't have to explain why it is good. Neither the explanation will make someone who doesn't like it, to begin liking it. Just play it and if it doesn't grab you, then it is not your thing.
