Just google unren - should be on github (I hate when people say that, but unsure about being allowed to link that here sorry). Place it in the game folder and run it, then select option 1.

A big troop of zealots has already formed.
The game promises to be decent, but of course, on this website, the hyper-hype is a thing.

Let's see how it evolves.
This is the first VN I've actually engaged in discussion on this site. Compared to the other VNs I've read, this one's writing is leagues above. Even the emotions/expressions on the 3D models tell a better story than most other VNs. Great example in "show, don't tell" writing. With the first release, I think it deserves the praise, but we'll see if that changes in the future.

Or maybe bc he loves her so much he's ready to let her do what she wants, idk. Or a narration astuce from the dev to adress these points later. In all these instances, what he says ("The company grows, the boss is happy, people make more money, maybe you get something out of it for yourself.") doesnt't make any sense.
This is the crux of it I think. Do what she wants. He even told her "Do it, don't do it... it's up to you". And she is going to do it. (obviously so we can get a story).

But all that gibberish she said afterwards after she accepted that Christian got to him, where she knows he is hurting and the best way to help him is to let him think that it's his decision for her to practically become a free use slut so he can feel in control.... it's just too far fetched dribble, makes them both come across as mentally challenged immature teenagers.

And the "i will do anything you command of me"... Seriously? is Hutch going to say i demand you fuck my boss and all his friends? I get what the dev is trying to do, but its a weakness in the story. The whole scene is just there to make Hutch look like a pathetic tool, where up to that point he came across as hurt and defeated, but at least had his dignity. Now he has lost that too.

He should never have hugged her either. It was good that he withheld all emotionally physical contact from her. No kissing, no holding hands, no confirmation of love, etc. And then..... this, major let down.

Lets see how it all unfolds, I'm still rooting for Hutch, but I know that at lot of people are not (you psychos! :) )

Everyone wants to root for the underdog. He will come back but not the way that you think. I think that clenched fist tell it all. He is pissed a Christian. I think he will look for a way to destroy him. As for Vivian... that still remains in the dev hands. However he did write that the couple will see darker times before anything gets better if at all.

For me he already lost his dignity when he refused to really confront her, even after the toilet incident. When she knew she was caught, she was so desperate to save her marriage that she would have not entertained the idea of continuing her affair with Christian if he stayed in shut down mode. Come to think of it, we don't know for sure the real motivation of Hutch for doing that, neither do we know for sure how Christian "convinced Vivian to fuck him in 10 minutes. I guess the dev will give us the answers later. For me it will be at this moment I may be disappointed.

It's true i want to root for him. But from where we are, even if (it's a big if) Hutch gets some revenge, the end will be dark whatever way the dev goes. From Hutch 'sperspective, he had seen things that broke his heart, will continue to see his wife and his boss dishonor and belitlle him, and he will have to bear this cross till the end of his life, whatever the final outcome may be. But someleads introduced by the dev foreshadow that he may not be the only one to regret what happened.

Personally, I do not want their marriage to survive, that would be the 'bad' ending as far as I'm concerned.

A "happy" ending for me would be Hutch ending up with Addison and be expecting a child together. Vivian becoming celibate, and living like a recluse due to the remorse of the death of her marriage, and her son completely cutting her out of his life. Christian gets arrested for pimping/prostitution causing a major scandal amongst his clients. Ends up loses his reputation and business, behind bars.

A "dark" ending for me would be Hutch spending the night having sex with Addison, and half way though the night picks up a gun Addison keeps for protection, then drives over to Christians. He sends a email to his son explaining and describing everything that has led to this point in time. Then breaks into the house confronts wife and boss while she is riding him cowgirl. Shoots the boss several times then points the gun to Vivian making her think she is next. Turns the gun to his own head tells her its all her fault and shoots himself dead. Vivian life gets exposed leading to her losing her job, and becomes an outcast to all who know her, even denied entry to the funeral. Her son loathes her with a passion. Months later Vivian, after visiting Hutch at the cemetery, jumps into her car and and his confronted by Addison, who looks at her and says "For Hutch" and proceeds to slit wife's throat. She leaves the knife in Vivian's hand with a fake suicide note. Nobody goes to her funeral, and she gets cremated. Her remains are posted to the son. Son knows that she would have loved to be put to rest next to Hutch. Instead he walks over to bathroom and flushes ashes in toilet, into the sewers where she belongs.

For those who are curious of the tattoo on her back.

A Dream Within a Dream
By
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow —
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand —
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep — while I weep!
O God! Can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

THis is the first one.... interesting because it's something he has laying around... didn't need it back. THe second time she open the door...then closed it
She is fighting it but it means something now. because if it didn't why put it in the draw instead of washing it and have Hutch return it why put it in the draw. Hutch knows she wore it. It was a memento. But that's just my take high possibility I am wrong.

What is the irony in A Dream Within a Dream?

Irony. The purpose of the poem is to explain to the woman and others that he does agree that life is all a dream. It is ironic that the speaker is in a dream, which has a happy connotation, but he is weeping and can't hold on to anything. Rather than the speaker being upset with reality, he is upset with fantasy.

What is personification in A Dream Within a Dream?

Personification is used to demonstrate emotions and the passing of time when “hope had flown away”. This cleverly demonstrates how time manipulates emotions and being a human is not always enjoyable.

Dude, you literally added to my story, your ending is even darker. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

Well Christian has her panties (underneath table in backyard) as a memento too. i wonder if he's busy sniffing them as well.

I absolutely agree! Vivian is not a person who can be trusted.

That would be my perfect ending, in fact from the beginning I think the only happy ending Hutch can have is to end up with Addison.

A "dark" ending for me would be Hutch spending the night having sex with Addison, and half way though the night picks up a gun Addison keeps for protection, then drives over to Christians.
