Tbh, I think Chris's moral compass is kinda not entirely known. Like we don't know the upper/lower limits of where he draws the line at this juncture of the game's current update.

Perhaps he's into sticking his dick into whatever (semi-attractive) adult female he wants to bang (family or no family), and he doesn't have any qualms nor restrictions on that.

OR perhaps he does have a conscience and chooses not to draw the line with people in his family. I think he's kinda unhinged/unpredictable in his mannerisms, so I don't think anything is really beneath him to want to experiment with based on my personal opinions of him. But who knows tbh?

Christian as a character is a rather weak one

First, it's a heavy lean on the whole Alpha/Beta thing. Not much of a complicated personal motivation on his part to believe himself is an Alpha male. Then there is the power kick he gets... think God syndrome. And all that means is Christain is a sociopath.

Now it is a kinetic novel and as such one wouldn't expect a misogynistic story on par with Hemmingway's "Farewell to Arms." A lot of elements are missing and are surprisingly well covered in this game. In the morning Vivian has a sorrowful moment in the shower feeling guilty as well having to flush out Chistian's cum. However, cheating and affairs have dynamics as do normal relationships. Having sex in a happy married life is bond building and could have children entering the picture--all positive. However cheating affairs shatter that bonding and trust and the act alone of having another man's seed has its own implications that makes cheating and affairs all the worst.

Interesting with all the conquests Christain claims to have made, that yes someone one didn't end up pregnant, or that Christain chose the wrong woman to mess with that an enraged husband didn't take him to task very brutally. Sure, we can all go on and on about consequences and after all its just a game. There are already plenty of small problems with the plot and story that one can overlook certain details and just enjoy

I think he is doing it for his son, to be able to pay for his tuition and expenses. It might be entirely possible that he no longer cares for Vivian, especially after the dinner. He is greyrocking her (minimum communication with abuser) and then just gives her what she wants to stop her fake drama. But there is no winning scenario here for Hutch. Regardless of what's happening with the boss, Vivian is not a faithful wife.

I definitely get the "doing it for his son" part, makes sense... I'm sure he'll definitely reach a point to where he won't give a fuck .. and will finally take matters into his own hands

There is a game called Triple Ex the MC got a vascetomy later on he got his "roommate" pregnant. Found out its rare but vasectomy can end up healing itself imagine that happens with Christian. Ends up getting Vivian pregnant.

lmao tbh seeing as how Vivian is quite the vivacious and promiscuous woman, who is to say that she won't entertain some other dude and/or get easily corrupted by someone other than Chris? (e.g., the mechanic for example).

Sure she might end up moving on from Chris if he decides to leave her, but I bet she wouldn't be able to settle for Hutch either after going along with Chris for some time. She might prove to be quite insatiable in that regard.

When Vivian goes to meet Christian in the morning to negotiate Hunth's job, she doesn't find him in the office and he soon appears from behind, surprising her. There's a moment when she looks at him in surprise and falls into his arms. I believe that it wasn't just the shock that made her fall, but also because he's very handsome and she kind of falls in love at first sight. That said, I don't believe that she took the initiative in the backyard (or that it was blackmail), but she already expected to be possessed by him. She wanted that. It's an observation with a question. And there is really no answer unless we get a flashback of the events in the back yard. How did Christian get Vivian to allow him to mount her?

All we know is Hutch sees his wife getting railed and we know he's upset. OK... Hutch isn't into wife swapping/hot wifing/ or a willing cuck, point well made. But the question is how much resistance did Vivian put up before dropping her panties if any? I suppose other questions could be asked too. A great part of the novel is there is passion with the foreplay like kissing and nibbling, but in that context how much passion occurred in the back yard... and what was going through Vivian's mind during all of it.

I know that a lot of people want to see a detailed explanation of this scene. But honestly, I don't think it's necessary. Especially if it's in the form of a flashback. I don't really like flashbacks, I think it takes away from the immersion a bit. Timing of flashbacks if done correctly to set up an event or explain something that is new information are a good plot device... and flashbacks can mold a character's reasoning, evolution, and situation. Take a simple scene where Vivian knows she is going to meet up with Christian and thinks there is a chance he'll make another move on her... the flashback of either the back yard or bedroom (brief recollection) can set the scene where she gets wet with anticipation. Or as time passes Vivian thinks more and more about the events with Christian that helps her reconcile her guilt or make her feel even more guilty about the affair.

(I replayed the game and I'm increasingly believing that she's already been acting this way with other guys for some time. However, this is the first time that Hunth finds out.) Maybe

I am on the side that by and large Vivian hasn't had much time or opportunity to stray or cheat in so much the time it would take to develop relationships that would allow her to do that. Oh sure she would have workplace interactions but since it takes two to tango in one situation where she is wanting to explore an affair the target of her interests might not be willing... and the reverse is true as well that Vivian just isn't interested in whoever who is trying to bed her.

But... as likely or not Vivian has cheated in the past, the point being made is she was always willing to cheat given the correct situation. I'm not meaning she would just drop her panties... but that she is/was weak enough to where it could happen.

But honestly the whole Christain/Vivian storyline I think really is a Trojan horse for the real cheating trope of the story... I'll put my chips on that the real cheating occurs with the students. Vivian has an excuse that makes Christain possible and perhaps the relationship corrupts her to expands her menu

I've played it several times, at first I felt sorry for Hutch. But the more I play/read, the more angry the cowardly husband makes me.

Please, I only ask two things:

1. When Vivian gets fucked in the ass, let it be her husband. That would give him back some dignity (just a little).

2. My ending to the story would be this:

- Christian is a corrupt businessman, Addison knows it.
- Addison finds out how much Hutch is suffering because of Christian.
- She talks to Hutch and gives him evidence that proves Christian's guilt.
- Hutch, very angry, reports him to the police.
- The police raid Christian's house just as Vivian is there fucking him.
- The two come out handcuffed and are recorded by a press camera that is there covering the news. Hutch and Vivian's son finds out everything.
- The next day Hutch goes to the police station to pay his wife's bail. When they leave the police station, Hutch says goodbye to his wife by giving her a kiss on the cheek. He gets into a car driven by Addison and they drive away.
- A scene is seen in prison, Christian's ass is busted in the showers.

End

I think there should be a straight, unaltered story as the main content. It's like a movie, and it tells the intricate tale of love and loss.

But, after, I think there should be after-stories. The main story could end on some kind of note. But, from there, there could be alternate endings that branch from that central point, to tell this and that bookmark to things.

One, could be some kind of redemption for Vivian, and she and Hutch somehow end up together at the end. But, alternatively, she might end up with Christian in the long run. Or, she might be abandoned by all, and she's left a mess because of her choices.

But, the endings might also explore what's become of the side characters. There could be a lot of variations, but that would be a lot of work, I guess. All I really want is a good, main storyline from this game. That would be great.
