As good as "My Husband's Boss" is, it still suffers all the VN tropes found in other games. Yes, certain leaps of logic can reasonably be made that the developer doesn't have to script. One is it is most likely Vivian is on birth control-- a mature well-educated woman in a modern society it's almost a given.
It'll just come down to the rest of the old VN tropes the developer uses in his story that will either make "My Husband's Boss" just like any other VN or a cut above the rest.
Tropes/themes:
*Women getting off on giving BJs/TJ/HJ ... how many games are out there where it's just BJ after BJ-- what women would rather give out a BJ rather than get railed? Sure they are likely to give out BJs, TJs, HJs to get a man more excited to encourage him to rail her good... or carry them out to rock his world.
*Cock worship ... It's one of those myths most game goes down the rabbit hole because the guy is hung like a horse. That one pretty much is a man's self-image thing, but plenty of interviews of porn stars stating just what they in real life prefer which is average. Making the whole cock worship trope complete is how stories show women enthralled with Dick. No, it's what it can do and make them feel that's the allure.
*BBC ... If I miss my guess, we are going to see that in this game. Either and or with the star basketball player or the mechanic. Kind of goes toward the whole cock worship trope but with a twist. Now in "My Husband's Boss" just how will Vivian's character deal with it? Does it become a kink that some women have ... will it be the vanilla BBC remaining politically correct to avoid the whole interracial thing ... plenty of poison to choose with BBC to pick from.
*Corruption ... The good old slippery slope of moral decay. Corruption has so many aspects to it that it is easy to lose the whole story's plot with timing, plausibility, cause and effect, and character assassination. Corruption is a journey. It's easy to just start with a morally bankrupt character but with Vivian she is an honest wife just starting that journey.
-timing is mostly an issue of impatience to move the story along. Game has moved on to Vivian already spreading her legs for another man, but with an excuse-- she didn't willingly create the situation, it just is. And likely the real corruption of Vivian isn't with Christian, but soon others. Though I suspect she will at some point eagerly like that relationship too with Christian.
-just how plausible is Vivian's decent into depravity? That we have yet to see. The question will be how does she get there. What will be her rationalization, what moral struggles will she go through, how does she convince herself to enter into these relationships and at what point is Vivian blameless to becoming fully and openly corrupt to herself?
-cause and effect are simply consequences that trigger outcomes. The greatest stretch of logic the game has made thus far is the whole sleepover event. Does Vivian really have any expectation with all the hollering from Christian's pounding that Hutch doesn't already know ... that all Hutch had to do was get up and see her in the backyard getting railed ... or that she doesn't stick of sex on the car ride home. It seems that's a plausibility argument, but barring the husband's ignorance myth Vivian has how does or will she think of her newfound situation. Wouldn't expect Hutch not to be miserable, but that's not the point. The point being in the journey of corruption how does it change her character.
-writers have a great habit of assassinating their own character development. Starting off with a good wife going on full slut-mode without an emotional journey. A good corruption story is one of self-discovery, reconciliation, justification, compromise, and rationalization assuming the character starts with integrity and a moral compass

So after yet another play through, I noticed something that struck me as odd because of all the detail in in the game that most others leave out, and to be honest its a bit petty for me to even say, but Vivian's makeup and most importantly her lip stick, it is always perfect, LOL, I mean before dinner, perfect, after the tryst on the porch, perfect, after all them gagging noises from the bedroom, perfect, after the suck and fuck in the kitchen, perfect, after the second round of escapades in the bedroom till the morning, perfect, but she hit that shower and the lip stick is gone and makeup running down her face....
Me and the wife go at it for 15 minutes and her makeup is a mess, LOL
Now I am not complaining, because honestly I don't like when the makeup is running all over the place during the scene, but I just thought I had to point it out.....

Just like with every game there are the little things that just don't add up in real life... and I'm glad Vivian has Mirical makeup and rather not see Cookie Monster going down on snake
Love the first pic you posted because it says it all with the one weakness element to the game... no way a reasonable person could ever believe Hutch doesn't know what happened and that Vivian could believe such a myth Hutch is ignorant. Perhaps its overly made point just how badly Hutch was cucked, but cucked he was. Suspect the point the developer was making is just how bad Hutch is a Beta male

are you really acting like a conspiracy theorist or a flat-earther in a game so easy to understand, are you really still missing a chapter in the first chapter alone, what story is it about, or what characters are they, I read 4 pages of suppositions, 2 pages just about who Addison is, ahahhahah, what is so unclear, Hutch is a passive Beta husband, one without balls, and men like that, in their miserable life, will always be doormats, whoever expects a reaction, I bet my balls, will be disappointed, Chris, is the classic handsome, rich and bully, what he wants, he gets, is already here, I find a mistake, Chris is like Superman without the weak Kryptonite, he sweeps away what passes in front of him, easy to understand, how long did it take him to screw Vivian, just one day, doing it several times, in front of the idiot Hutch, it takes a genius to understand the two male characters, another user wrote well, a simple story of Alpha against Beta, then Vivian is added, here, another blow to the story and dynamics, just one day to go from a wife who loves her husband, to an absolute slut and Chris' toy, how ridiculous can this situation be, one day, other games at least had the decency to transform wives like this, after at least a long time, here one day, then I find the scene on the couch of Vivian crying and begging for forgiveness ridiculous, ahahah, she got fucked like a slut in the bathroom an hour before, knowing that her husband was watching, and wants to force her husband to make him believe that it's for love, hahahahahah, I noted miradi of plot errors, timing, Hucth doesn't even notice Addison who is infatuated with him, no because he is in love with his wife, because he is a beta, the DEV built him as a total loser, too bad, he spoiled everything already in the first chapter, I repeat, too linear, easy to read the characters. What a pity.

Saying my piece on the dynamics of a VN that is too obvious, and I think I don't offend anyone, it's my right as a user, or only those who give a positive opinion can write here, I specified that it's a shame to have written a plot in a VN, that you understand a lot only in its first chapter, forgive me if I didn't find it so fascinating to see a wife, who in just one day loses her dignity and love, "on this Love, I put many question marks", to become a sex toy, true, I'm not forced to play it, don't worry, this mistake won't be made by me, but if I read praise on a VN, that I only list a large estimate of defects, well, I laugh and I say it, it's like in the game, who is a Beta user, in front of similar games, will always love and agree, who reads a similar VN, and reacts like me, sorry, no offense, I'm an Alpha, therefore, I feel entitled and obliged, to contest the praise and the VN. greetings.

Man, after seeing these screenshots, I realize how on point Vivian is when it comes to design. I mean, she's attractive, but while maintaining realism, it's not over the top. I don't know if her age was made clear, but she looks like a woman in her 40s, she has that housewife aura, I don't know if I'm making myself clear. Which makes it all feel more real and in a way more connected to the story that the developer wants to tell us.

Yeah, it is heavily implied throughout the game's narrative that Vivian is approaching 40. Remember the scene when she visited Chris's office as 'Ms Dubois', and then when she was talking to Addison, Addison mentioned to Chris the rough age of the lady who was at the front desk, and she mentioned a lady in her '40s' middle age, etc. So, more than likely that Vivian is around 40.
Plus, it seems like her son is around 18-20 years old as a college freshman. So, that would mean that if her son is 18, Vivian must have given birth to him at 22. So, all in all, based on the evidence implied, it wouldn't be too far out of the realm of possibilities, that Vivian is in fact in her early 40s.
The realism is appreciated though, as Vivian does indeed look like how a woman her age would appear IMHO

And of course, they've been married for 22 years, so although you can do it earlier (depending on local laws) you're probably talking 18 at least, so 22 years on she would be 40. Obviously a couple of years after that for getting married in their (her) early 20s instead of late teens, so early to mid 40s perhaps.
