I believe they were referring to the point in the story when Hutch had left for a drive and wasn't picking up his phone, and Vivian was worried sick about him at home because he wasn't answering any of his calls/or texts. There was a scene like that mid-way through the game.

the more i repeat the game the more impressed i am and the more pgl i find.... and the thought and work the dev put into making this novel. the dev(he/she/they) really did some reasearch into behavioural sciences and the way people react and interact.

not the dress but the box that it came in... its supposed to be under the bed on the side where hutch sleeps. and since this tought came up my theory of the man with the cigarette changed to hutch....and a possible flashback or info drop of how hutch and vivian got together.

Yeah during the dinner event scene, when Hutch saw Chris fucking Vivian in Chris's backyard, they were setting the table for dinner, and Vivian noticed that her used panties were on the ground next to the dining table when they were in Chris's backyard. She then subtly kicked the panties under the table so Hutch wouldn't notice.

Not knowing that Hutch had already seen both Chris/Vivian fucking just a while back before the three of them sat down for dinner.
