More to show the scene of Vivian and Christian in a similar way as in the boss's house (playing with sound and image Part 2) in the dorm room or next door. And Sawyer would hear it. Her son has a similar character to his father, what would Vivian think if her son discovered it.

I believe we ignore the complexities of humans and relationships here. It’s clear that Vivian has long been a help to her husband. They have a son that just left for college. Keeping finances in order would be of paramount importance. An only child now out of the house is a huge adjustment for the couple. They allude to that in the story. I see Vivian as a person who would do anything to help her husband and family. She is in a fragile state to begin with and Christian expertly plays both wife and husband. He is truly diabolical. Now, with the best of intentions Vivian falls prey to his manipulations and reveals a part of herself that has either remained dormant for a long time or never knew she had. Her inner turmoil is displayed throughout the story. It is her lack of selfishness that gets her into the situation.

Please please don't end this on some silly stuff. Like after Christian is done with her. He sends her back to Hutch and out of appreciation he sends them on vacation to rekindle their marriage. Don't humanize the male antagonist. Play a dumb game that did that.

I respect your opinion, but I don't buy it. We assume she is trying to preserve their financial status by using sex, at the expense of her marriage. No discussions with her husband about the plan, no attempting absolutely anything else first, That's selfish and self-centered in my book any day. I know many would disagree, but that's the way I see these people (I've come across a few in my time).
It's been mentioned before, fucking someone you shouldn't be, is only going to cause new problems and add to the existing.
It's wrong and stupid on so many levels. I think an educated woman like Vivian is supposed to be, is smart enough to realize how wrong and invalid such an idea would be.
Don't know about others on here, but I would never do anything intentionally or unintentionally to hurt my spouse, regardless if they find out or not. I'm too honest and loyal for that kind of betrayal, and let's face it it's a betray to the nth degree.
That is true sacrifice; deciding to love, be honesty and loyal forever regardless of what life's hardships come your way. Kind of stuff you need in any real relationship.
She even said it her self when she was in damage control and trying to save face. "I'd rather live in a cardboard box... blah blah blah..." . That is what she should have originally told Christian in the backyard while telling him to go fuck himself.
But she decided bending over was a better idea to show her love, really?
