I wasn't sure if I was going to weigh in on the whole notepad test, but since others are commenting on it, I will also. The so called test was complete bullshit. It would not have mattered what Hutch wrote down. Christian wasn't serious in anything he was saying in that moment. First it was most likely another chance to humiliate Hutch, and second it was a way to occupy him while he got Vivian alone. Christian worked with Hutch for 6 years, and he probably knew he could not work under that kind of pressure, hence it being an opportunity to humiliate him. Even if Hutch surprised Christian by writing down something brilliant it would not have mattered. If you have worked for a variety of employers, at different levels, (non-professional, professional, union, non-union etc.) you know the kinds of bullshit they pull. For example, HR departments pretend to be impartial when there is a dispute the employee and the employer, but in most cases they side with the employer even if the employer is clearly in the wrong. Another example is an employer lying about the real reason they fire a person. In a different scenario, where Vivian wasn't married to Hutch, and she worked for Christian, if Vivian refused to let Christian fuck her, he could wait 6 months or a year and fire her. Even if the real reason he fired her was because she didn't fuck him, he could make up another reason to avoid the legal consequences (sexual harassment). I have seen a lot of bullshit from employers over the years, and that notepad test smelled of bullshit.

I think Vivian got mad at Hutch about the notepad because, to her, it demonstrated he is unable to remedy the situation or at least help. If he had a plan or list and wrote it out on the notepad, would Vivian agree to stay? It would certainly undercut or weaken Christian’s plan. At that point, Vivian knew she would have to sacrifice more to save the situation - because of Hutch‘s failure to deliver on Christian’s request. At least that is how I perceived it.

You know of all the things in the story, the notepad thing irked me the most. I was thinking, “Dude, you can’t come up with anything? Seriously? WTF? Now I WANT Christian to pile drive your wife you dumb fuck!” Ok, I may have been more mellow about it at the time…to much caffeine now.

i dunno if anyone one of you here read the thoughts of hutch when he is alone in the living room when vivian vivian went to do the marital duties in the backyard. this 2025, how many of you can quote all the phone numbers you have dialed in the past week. its such a lane as test made by christian so he can bang the wife who he know is willing to do anything for the job. which is again a reference to christian saying about hutch being his type of guy. it goes both ways as i said in my previous post both agree and disagree to the views. and she wasn't crying from sacrificing but moaning all through the night... from the audio we get... doesn't seem like sacrifice...if anyone believes that its vivian sacrificing her self all night long then we can just let it be and say you have your views and each their own.

unless the purple night will be in the 3rd update (Hutch story) which doesn't fit the general concept for me - Vivian would have to go back to the older "look"

SC Stories said the sneak peaks were from update 3 so even after following you well thought out timeline i still side with your theory of the transparent dress being the 2nd even in 0.4 there is sushi restaurant visit planned for next day from the bathroom talk between the cheaters but i think they will postpone it since it open season for vivian. we just have to wait for the next 2 update for the various inconstancies in the theories to be resolved by story progression.

I would be very far from judging what someone did. Life takes the most unexpected paths.

i think it depends of the situation. a good wife would not be caught in such situations. a wife who is desperate may be which in this case vivian can be seen as... which i don't want to. and premeditation .... who know until they experience it for themselves. we are all talking about hypotheticals with loose real life logic when we need to.

The problem here is that you're mixing game and real life. I don't think the aim of Dev is to necessarily stick to real life in terms of the pace of action. It's accelerated to keep it in the game and add an emotional punch (which I think it does, given the number of comments).

SC Stories did say in his post clearly that he want to make this kn as real and believable as possible. the kn does that way better than any other vn or kn in this site (excluding a few good works). most people who post about mixing game and real life logic about this game either just watched the sex scenes and skipped dialogue or they are too objective or disconnected from the story in this kn. not saying its wrong... it's just your way of figuring out this kn... we all have our own theories and how we came about them doesn't matter as its their individual views.

dont think it was his focus at that point as he already shut hutch up when hutch made a comment about christian and vivian sided with christian. christian was more focused on how many times he could fuck vivian. im might be missing the order of events but you get the gist i suppose as i wrote earlier in this post. it was a fake test to fuck vivian asap.

I see it quite differently. That it was nonsense and a Christian test is clear. That Hutch could only lose too, no matter what he would have written down. But in this situation he would have had to muster the willpower to show Christian how important his wife is to him, to show him that Vivian is my wife.
But hutch didn't care, he preferred to go on a house tour.

Going back to the actual task Hutch was given: I've been working for myself for about three years now, but if I was asked that same thing today regarding the corporate job I had before that, to write down five clients and their strengths/weaknesses, and five clients we want and their strengths/weaknesses, I'm pretty sure I'd be able to do it.

As has been pointed out a few times recently though, what he wrote (if anything...) wasn't going to be important, as the task was to waste time, not to be productive.

I was answering one specific part of it (but relating it back to the game itself), as I said at the start of my response. And yes, like with the previous time, I did read all of your post. I don't know why you keep saying that when there's nothing to suggest otherwise...
