I'm stunned. Almost 14 hours without posts. What happened?

It's all good, I still love you Hattyrulz. We all like what we like.

Just some points (my opinions so don't get too worked up)

1. I don't care about sooper-dooper high quality images when it comes to story driven games. I'm in it for the story and the images just need to be respectable. A 2 mb png HD image (1920x1080) can be converted to an equivalent webp with minimal to no loss and end up being about a fraction of the size (give or take). This isn't a problem. I've played plenty of compressed games and have not noticed any jarring problems with image quality.
We have all seen tonnes of Golden palace / New gens /Dicktaker Daz genitals in every other game, so I don't care if they are not in high quality. I'm in love with the concept of where this story can lead to.

2. Making separate executables for each update was a suggestion to keep patches reasonable. It would mean not worrying about merging new code into old code, but more importantly it would mean have a smaller patch file for downloading. I can't see how this would break immersion. By that reasoning, it's already broken because we have to wait for months between releases.
They can even be named accordingly:

My Husband's Boss: The Price of Love
My Husband's Boss: Shadows of Forgiveness
My Husband's Boss: Shadows of Silence
My Husband's Boss: Where we stand and where we fall?

3. The nature of this game being a choice-less movie like release means that you can get away with separate releases for each update. It also means that it would be quite simple to have a combined complete version as well (either at end, or as option with each release). Not sure how many here have played with renpy, (I have and I'm pretty good at it too), and with the way SC Stories has structured the game code, this would not be difficult at all.

4. As gino.pilotino suggested as well, update only patches are also a possibility, and maybe a good compromise.

5. Finally, I like downloading from MEGA where possibly. Unless you have a paid subscription, you are limited to 5GB a day. I'll be spewing if I have to wait days to download this gem

i plan first what i want to play. while i play one game i decide what the next ones will be and in the meantime i download and mark them as to be done. i can't afford, with those times, to finish one game and then decide what to do next. There's also to say that when I finish a good game I feel emotionally drained and don't immediately want to start another one. But that's another matter. With the bandwidth I have I have to plan what I want to see.

It's being worked on in steady increments from what I've seen so far. Probably would wager sometime in the summer or 2-3 months the next update might hit.

Half of me prays no one is this stupid but the other half of thinks if they are, they deserve to be took. I mean, that site exists so it must turn a profit, right? I just hope they were dumb enough to leave the very end where it says 'this is free at f95, if you paid money you got ripped off'.



Currently downloading my game from some random site at 100kB/sec to see if they modded it before uploading. Only 10 more hours to go. This is another reason I might split my game up. Doubt these fucked up rehosting sites can bundle up multiple parts.

Yeah, that's unfortunate - but I've seen some AVNs being featured on that site (Faphouse) before.

It's just unfair to be exploited like that by a third-party site trying to profit from your work when you don't even accept personal donations for MHB.

I figured most of them were making money by rehosting it on a site full of ads and using download links to iffy hosts trying to get you to 'upgrade'. I have found my game on xhamster I think it was in video form. I also found it on a site with basically a renpy player built into the webpage. you could play it within the browser, no download needed. Laggy but it worked.

Can't really be mad about them trying to profit as we're a pirate site ourselves. More of a 'shake my head' and laugh kind of reaction. (but seriously... $12... who would pay that?)

Dev will provide information about the progress in 10 days, but it looks like he's sticking to the plan - so 0.4 should be out in two months at the latest

Sparta158 , after the last post-picture SCS, it just clicked and I understood that Duke, although he expresses it in a crude way, is right. The thing is, V. will be screwed in many different ways (and by many people) – at the same time, it will be a romance full of desire (Chris as... a guide through the maze of sexuality), and also a marital story (with the faithful Hutch, who will want to survive it because he loves her and believes that the sun will rise again). Such stories appear both in novels and films .



At the same time, nothing has changed in my event calendar, and I assume that based on Vivian’s appearance (specifically her hairstyle and manicure), we can extrapolate the timing/order of events. In this way, within 2 days/nights, we will have the 'purple meeting' (which I’ll address more precisely over the weekend ), and the first event in her 'new look' will be a transparent dinner at an oriental restaurant (since this is a very important event for Vivian and for the game, she will want to present herself in the best possible way – hairdresser, manicure). With the logical assumption that a barbecue is always held on Fridays or Saturdays – and we see that sex during the barbecue is now fully eager and voluntary – this means that earlier, a full relationship between Viv and Chris was established (during the transparent oriental dinner – which must have happened on Thursday evening (+/- 1 day)). At the same time, I assume that we still don’t have any 'picture' of Vivian’s 3rd image transformation (perhaps in the scene with CigSmokMan, we’ll see something interesting on Viv’s body – I wonder if Chris marks his bitches).



Of course, all these assumptions are based on the logic of life – not a porn game – but I believe that the authenticity of this story allows me to take this assumption as a given.
