Project Update
Wow! Just when I thought the conversation here was slowing down it explodes again. It still amazes me the passion some of you guys have with the game. It makes me feel good. I really didn't expect this kind of response. That makes what I have to say all the more difficult.
I, unfortunately, have decided to give up on MHB. It started off as a passion project for me and I've put a lot of time and effort into it but reading all the comments in the forum and all the private messages I get, I realize I'm doomed to fail. Everyone is layering on top of me higher and higher expectations that I cannot meet. Everyone is so 'vocal', shall we say, about what they want/hope/expect and anything else is a a let down/disappointment/typical troupe. My simple story is going to fall flat.
It's been kind of stressful and gnaws at my soul. The healthiest thing is to just step away and maybe go back to model railroading. As a consolation prize I've included an outline of what the rest of the script was going to be. You guys can debate the direction I was going, including the ending. Take care, everyone. Thanks.

Joking aside I do wonder if there is an element of truth to this. People's expectations being ridiculously high I mean. Not that it would be the devs fault really, but rather people already planning out in their own mind the beginning, middle and end of this crazy journey. That they are setting themselves up for a fall.
He wants to break it to us gently and uses a joke at first to get us used to the thought. How transparent...

I agree few things with you. Victim Mentality = Yes; Power Complex = Yes; But I am not sure if she thinks everything is solved with her body/sex. She is a princess character. Who wants everything to go how she wants. And the dominating partner of the main couple. And I really think the backyard thing happened in the heat of the moment influenced/seduced by Christian. English isn't my first language so I may be intercepting it wrong but the only explanation of that scene is in this one sentence
She had the best interest until she saw Christian
After tricked into kissing Christian on the lips
and later when he showed his domineering side she went to kiss him on her own
And it clearly showed she was fascinated by him
She used to have everything that she wanted (the broken high price car is the example) and really have low trust in her husband's ability that is why she went on ahead to convince his boss but instead found a Alpha male with great look who rejected her demand. I think the MOMENT she went to kiss her own made her a unfaithful wife as it's clear indication that she would have cheated then and there if Christian wanted.
I think if it goes the Hotwife path then the ending would be -- She will get a better position/pay in Hutch office, Christian would become her main man with open lover relationship where she will have many sex friends and a cuck husband (no sex), in the finale she will get a promotion and have a threesome with Addison while Hutch sleeps alone thinking she won't be back this night also. (I hope that's not the case)

She could turn into a princess character so to speak but with any issues we have seen so far she has either resolved that issue or attempted to resolve it with sex

That's what the dev is expecting, yes! As long as the storytelling remains the same, I don't actually mind what path it takes, although there's probably a good chance that I'd have preferred other options here and there, even if I really like the ending.
