The author has a ready story, so there are renders from 0.4, 0.6, and I'm sure from 0.8 and 1.0. The updates are numbered by 0.2, meaning each update contains 20% of the story. Updates are released every 4-5 months.

Dev did a lot of work before the first release. After the first release (0.2) came out, he already had a lot of renders ready that would appear later in the game, but I think he said most of them would be for the third part (0.6) and that much of the next release (0.4) still needed to be made.

It is not completely ready, some scenes are ready, some are in production. Do you know how a film is made? All scenes are filmed in a different order, and then a finished film is assembled from them. Here the situation is similar, according to a finished script you can make renders in any order, as convenient for the author.

Luc77 either you have the memory of a goldfish or you are very forgetful. we talked about which pics are in which update some 50+ pages back. and i even posted what SC Stories posted regarding the sneak peaks.

regarding the garden party and the bag it was already talked about.... those 4 pics(3 from the end of the update and 1 in the kn description) can be interpreted in different ways based on the sequence even if we exclude the bag. as these have already been posted multiple times. and these pics were the reason y your manicure theory wasn't working. even if it was a good theory. if you view them in this order the pic with vivian getting ready can be inserted after the 3rd. seems kinda logical and sequential.

if we take the bag into consideration this changes the way those pics are organized. which leads to the possibilities you and some others have already mentioned. only the first pic will be interchanged as the 3rd pic(4th pic in the garden party sequence) here has a door next to hutch which is clearly after the pic showing vivian adjusting her stocking in the kn description.

I think we agree that the 4 pictures are from the Garden Party at Chris's place (Hutch bringing Vivian in, the banging by the cabinet/mirror, the view of the couple getting dressed from the room, and the hand-holding/Hutch view). This is clearly indicated by Viv getting dressed (the dress, fishnets, necklace, bracelets, shoes).

The order in which these pictures appear is of secondary importance, and the bag is purely a matter of interpretation. Of course, the best sequence would be: the banging with the phone in the background, the getting dressed, the hand-holding, and finally the cuckold leading the mare into the wolves’ den.

I don’t really understand what the manicure theory has to do with any of this.

It seems unneeded as well. I don't want to stop anyone's fun, but it's a porn game. I think it's reasonable to think the lewd and perverse will happen. These aren't stories of morality. If I want a story on romance, love, morality, and the interconnectness of all things I'll just watch a Wuxia movie like laughing in the wind. It does a great job of explaining it all. So does demi gods and semi devils.

In Shakespeare's words it would be much ado about nothing.

yes in that same post that we agreed on about the pictures/renders i also posted about the renders being in 0.6 and referenced sc stories post about them. especially the sneak peaks at the end of the update which had 3 of the 4 garden party renders.

have to agree about the order of the pictures. and yes this was already posted by you before. only the late joiners coming in and posting already talked about theories which are already posted in the previous 200+ pages explaining their thoughts like xcal or chaotic.

regarding the manicure theory you posted the garden party being part of the 0.4 and the nail polish?? that vivian has for that party is similar to the nail design when she has the see through dress for the restaurant/outing event. which according to your manicure theory should be the event vivian talks about in the bathroom which happens the next day. which according to the timeline has to be in 0.4.

according to your manicure theory you said 1 week for the design change on the nails so all the renders with similar design were grouped together based on that assumption. and the red/maroon dress event was noted as being another week. i may be missing a few interpretations of your theory but that's what i understood from it. free to correct me. always welcome your theories.

This is of course an ideal variant of arrangement, a practically connected moment in meaning, but again we do not know what was before and after, maybe it does not make any sense at all, just a certain statement of the fact of a certain action in a framework still unknown to us.

It's not about the game as a moral tale but about the nerve it hits. It's not about speculating but about how the people react to the game and what underlying societal narratives and sensibilities are triggered what is interesting to me- and this reaction can be even more symptomatic and vital in the case of a porn game I would argue.
What becomes clearer the more people come into the threaad: This game is the perfect litmus test. You could as well show the shock beginning to a panel and look out for reactions.
With other games you can filter fetishes, preferences and maybe the moral fashions of the day.
With this one you can test for individual life experiences, what conclusions you drew from past disappointments and how you explained them to yourself, vulnerabilities, tolerance thresholds, how much you would be prepared to take, how much you depend on things working out in the end, how much you think you have to lose, how fed up you really are (or how relieved not to be Hutch) and finally how honest you are in adressing and naming responsibilites or if you prefer to remain on the surface of things. It doesn't ask Who do you want to fuck and how, but How would you deal with that. A lot of peoples' first reaction couldn't escape that thought: what would I have done in that situation -and that says a lot.

This is one of the annoying things that always comes up here, and you've got the truth of it (although there's no need for the "technically" to start it off).

That is exactly what I wish. Not for myself but for the idea in general. I would absolutely love to see things like MHB (or Chasing Sunsets or similar) made into a live action movie with a million or two budget. A well written, well acted story of lust, betrayal, corruption, and sex in a 90min to 2hr run time (or even as a 8-10 episodes of 1hr if appropriate). About 80-20 story vs sex but have the sex scenes be uncensored. In a 2hr movie that's 30mins of sex over maybe 3-4 scenes. Maybe the ratio could be mixed a little higher but the primary purpose of the movie is to tell a story, not just show penis in vagina. And the sex is part of the story, not just gratuitous. I made MHB from the beginning thinking of it as a movie more than a VN or a book. That's why I use so many renders... to try and let the story without narration.

Porn parody movies are just god awful. Some had halfway descent production value in sets and costumes but just horrendous scripts and embarrassing acting. And it ends up being 80% or more sex and gets boring. I'm actually a fan of Fifty Shades of Grey because it touched on the topic, was sexy, had production value, balances story and sex, but just needed to go that final step.

Most stories like mine could be the equivalent of a low budget indie film. No fancy sets, no CGI. Just basic on location scenes. Youtube has shown what even an amateur is capable of with a $1000 camera and a laptop with some editing software. There are some amazing amateur actors out there making these 10-15min short films too. We just need a couple willing to fuck on camera as well.

I know it will never happen because there isn't money in it. I just don't see a distribution avenue that would be profitable. People would pirate, people would bitch it didn't fit their kink, people would bitch it didn't have choices, Patreon subscribers would want regular content releases instead of waiting for the full project...

Having said all of that I'm sure there some movies that get close and I welcome people offering suggestions. I saw one recently, french I think(damned if I can remember the title), and while it had some energetic sex scenes, they were of course not graphic in that sense and the story was kind of subdued and slow, about a middle aged woman having a summer fling while on holiday. It was the kind of movie you could go to the kitchen for 15mins, come back and not have missed anything (story or sex). Then there are some cable TV shows like HBO's Rome or Starz Spartacus with lots of story, action, fights and with a more liberal use of nudity and sex. But it was still censored and sporadic and not important to the story.

Anyway, I'll go crawl back into my hole...


edited to add a final thought: Just two of the download links that show stats show about 30k worth of downloads for MHB. The more epic games like BaDik or AWAM and many more I'm sure are in the multiple hundreds of thousands. There is an audiance to be tapped.

Give this 15 min short film a watch! Touches on some of the themes in your game and it really encapsulates some of the angst and drama. Maybe someday we will get to see MHB in a shoot like this. Highly recommend all NTR fans give this a watch.
