The fact is that if I keep reading theories, I may build scenarios in my head that I like and in the end I am more likely to be disappointed. Can't we just read what the author has to offer us? We don't persuade him to deviate from his idea anyway.

Come on, why so negative? Maybe you should look at it more positively.
The Developer doesn't use Patreon, etc. His only "currency" is the community's comments and feedback.

I remember him saying at one point that he would leave the community or at least reduce his interactions because it was getting out of control. Or do I remember wrongly?

probably chaoticjustice said that he was disappointed and needs to cool off from a distance, SC said in turn that he entered too much into our expressed expectations, so that his own story line became heavily strained, for this reason he will limit his interaction with players and focus on working on the original product line

He chimed in on one occasion where someone kinda attacked him about the game. He has posted on many occasions that is amazed on the amount of content about the game and amused on all the theories we come up with . Just click on his name on the op page and follow his postings if you wish..

I can't altogether agree with that sentiment. I found that the earlier discussions in this thread were more impactful and less far-fetched, and lately this thread has increasingly been watered down by rampant speculations and overinterpretations. Sure, everyone is free to discuss whatever theories they want, but to me it does get to a point where the thread is weakened by too much of this. For some time now, I have suspected that this (at least in part) is related to some individuals having a hard time dealing with their desires and pent-up frustrations in craving for more content from the developer, which speaks well for the developer's effect on the audience but does seem to get excessive and redundant in coming from the audience after a point.

I did think of this too. Honestly, I try to see things from multiple perspectives, and it was exciting early on to see this thread explode with discussions in the wake of the initial release. At the same time, however, I thought that the developer already had plenty of comments and feedback to consider after we breached around the 150-page mark, but now that we're at more than twice as many pages as then, I'm not feeling like the past 200 pages or so have done much to forward the overall discussion. Additionally, there are over 140 reviews of this AVN for the developer and others to read as well if they choose, and again, this is just after the initial release that set the story in motion (which admittedly included a few very hot yet highly debated sex scenes involving Vivian and her husband's boss).

Anyway, I'm not the discussion police or anything, just giving my opinion among a sea of opinions here.

My guess is we have discussed the factual parts that we know of. With a 4 month wait that leads us to the sublime wild theories. That is because we have nothing to talk about. We do rally around some of the previews, But , since they are not to pointed....we guess. Some of us venture into outerspace with some... I think I may be part of that. At any rate take it with a grain of Salt... and have fun on the ride.
