Project Update

I've updated the main page and rebranded v0.2 as Chapter 1. Going forward each update will be a stand alone executable game. Next update is Chapter 2. There will be 5 chapters total for the entire game. The reason for the change is to limit compression of the game and so I can have some control over distribution.

THERE IS NO NEW CONTENT IN CHAPTER 1. Bug fixes only.

Chapter two is coming soon. I am hoping to get it to a proofreader by the beginning of June. I'm not sure how much time he'll need but I suspect it won't be much. So I'll budget another week to get that back and do what ever clean up I need to do. My goal is a June 6th release date. That's the plan. Don't hold me to it.

Then you asked the wrong person.
The developer stated several times that he will release the updates in a 4 months cycle.
The update will drop this month.
The dev is new and the first chapter was large and ambitious so we should give him the benefit of the doubt.
By the way he showed us already a trailer at the end of chapter 1 of the upcoming content.
It looks like the dev put his heart into this project and creates it in first place for himself, so I guess it will not be abandoned.

Just ignore their profile. Both sides are really annoying, both are a bunch of resentful people. I even think there are few of these resentful people here in the topic, they just spam too much the same thing with different words.

What is it? The first or the second? I'm just for consistency in statements.
Because: you can't forbid people to be touched by a story which connects to some of their real life experiences.

The story is made up, but touches on real life situations.
So yes, it's both.

If you write a story based on subject matter no one can relate to, then it becomes hard for people to feel any emotional connection with the characters in it.

Exactly, that's what I meant. It's not total fantasy. And that's why I wouldn't dictate to others that they have to relate to the story in a certain (your) way, especially not in a fantasy/escapism (dumb concept) way. The first glance on this story is enough to see that it is not just "harmless fun" to enjoy. If you take it that way, alright. Others do not. A lot of people (over the entire political spectrum) have hinted here that they take the story seriously at least in certain aspects and feel touched. And so they react. So why degrading that as "crying" and ready for the psychiatrist?

Can we just agree to agree Hutch/Vivian are married...
Their marriage has taken a turn toward the downside...
We all would react differently if it was us in this situation...
And considering what games are out there this is a good one...?
