Most of the bad reviews are deleted. And my review was deleted too, that's freedom of speech. I wrote that the wife of the main character is just a whore. I can give credit to the game for doing well, but the story is complete shit.

Yeah. I had a review of mine get taken down a while ago because I "Didn't provide enough information or enough 'how to fix it' in my review"...which is 100% what my review was. I got burned for the first time trying it, so I shan't do it again on any game again.

There's no guarantee that we will. The dev has suggested it might be a possibility, but it won't necessarily happen. The dev also said (later) that he had made some comments in replies that might have given the wrong idea, or suggested that he will appease players' rather than just focusing on his own vision:

Early on after the release of MHB, I fell into the trap of wanting to appease everyone. I made some posts, engaged in some ways I shouldn't have, and nearly altered the course of the story (such as adding/removing scenes, or creating a new ending). Some of my words my have been misleading, confusing, or outright false. I've regained my senses, reminded myself this is for myself first, and you guys are invited spectators that are free to jump off the train if it's not going where you want to go.

So yeah, I could be completely wrong, but I think the dev might have considered doing a flashback to appease people as they kept going on about it, but then decided not to, because it wasn't the original plan. I think this is the main thing people have been talking about in such terms, which is why it's the one scene that I thought the dev could be referring to in his quoted comment.

I suppose they never have read a half-decent book.

But we are here discussing the reality or motivation of the characters rather than the literary value of the story itself. Putting Tolstoy here is a misunderstanding at the level of fundamentals. Anyway... he could be a model for the incels here.

If Chapter Five doesn't end with Hutch walking into Christian's office and emptying a 9-mil into his chest, it's a major missed narrative opportunity.

Why kill Christian? He is just taking the opportunity. The one betraying Hutch over and over again is his own wife. She should be punished. Would be funny though if he nuked the whole town/city just to be sure to have all possible partners down

Yeah that's bad form, but F95 is plagued by a lot of people who feel it's their holy mission to come into the thread of every single NTR game and loudly proclaim that they don't like NTR. These same people also feel it their divine commission to give terrible ratings to every NTR game. I am in favor of everyone being able to express their thoughts freely. If you delete all the negative reviews, it will not make the game a masterpiece, the game will remain as shit.

I think some people misunderstand what this story is about. It's not the story of the white knight Hutch rescuing Lady Vivian kidnapped by the evil Christian. To me it's the story of a woman who reunites with her inner self after 20 years of oblivion. And all the consequences and repercussions of this "rebirth". No one is going to fight for her (well maybe her son later...?).
I think the story is extremely well written. It's a storm of emotions that hits hard.
You are right Vivian is a wife of paper. It appears clearly, even in chapter 1 that she is not a wife at heart. After the revelations of chapter 2, I even doubt she ever has really loved Hutch one day. It seems to me that she loved the idea of being married to a good man, to be considered a decent and respectable housewife. After her wild days of youth, it was like saying : "You see Mom, I can be this kind of woman". She had no confidence in Hutch to cope with the situation with Christian, so she decided to go meet him without telling him. Although they are married, they are not a true couple. They have no communication, no comprehension, sex between them is boring. Christian had just to push a little, and all the building was down. Because the foundations were very fragile.
As said by others, none of the characters are likeable. Christian is a master manipulator with no remorse, Vivian is the storm of emotions, of repressed desires who falls into debauchery, and Hutch, at the moment, is the too docile, too discreet, too submissive husband. The shadow of a man who didn't have the balls to say enough to Christian, enough to Vivian. Though these characters are fascinating, and I'm dying to see the end of all this. And it's certain it will not end happily.

So, for example, the movie Oppenheimer is bad in your eyes because you don't like the story, which tells how humanity's most powerful weapon came into being. And that makes the movie so bad for you that you completely ignore the great storytelling and the visual representation?

No, probably not, but many 40something women do confuse sex with finding themselves. Their sex drive peaks in their 40s. They try to find what they think is “missing” with their husband. Life, kids, routine, intermittent sex due to many reasons…they want attention, to be “seen.” Only after they have strayed and eventually find out that “sex” wasn’t the cure all and the grass isn’t greener…then it is often to late. Vivian may be this caricature on steroids, but it isn’t far fetched.
