I wouldn't say so - it's not a case of fucking every man she sees, etc., but she does... open up her options somewhat, and for different reasons, people have complained about every sex scene in the update.

I don't think people should be complaining about the sex scenes... it's just that, sex. It's just hard to understand where the developer is taking the whole plot of the story.
If I guess the whole plot is it's a story of liberation...? Perhaps a cautionary tale of be careful what you wish for...?
Honestly, I thought the whole Christian arc was the can opener to Vivian's fall...nope, wrong. Now the whole Sunshine 'thing'... suppose it kind of works, but honestly when Vivian goes out on her own looking for mischief, I think it would have been better if some guy picked her up and she had inner turmoil to actually go through with it.
So... what's my prediction going forward? I might have correctly pointed out the 'tramp stamp' in an earlier post and surprised it came out in the update, but next up...? Not a clue. The story might take off now that Vivian is broken {broken as in no longer constrained with her false image of herself}. So... two high school boys... maybe a mechanic... or more likely to be farmed out by Christian to other men.

To clarify what I meant by people complaining about all the sex scenes, every sex scene in Ch2 has had various posts showing how people are unhappy with them. Whether it be because of Vivian having sex completely naked on her front lawn, where anyone could see her (including Hutch, but that doesn't seem to be quite so important, given priors); Vivian having sex with Sunshine and Rain "out of nowhere", and in particular giving that up for someone else instead of Christian (or Hutch, for a minority); the rape, or I think more specifically turning that around into an experience that she found empowering, if not actually enjoyable; and then finally, linked to that, the revelation of the aforementioned empowerment, Christian's "ownership" and Vivian's request to essentially make love rather than fuck.
Personally, I would have preferred a couple of things going in different directions, but I can't complain about any of the scenes, despite that. And as for going forwards, I've said plenty of times I have no idea, and it could go in a couple of very different directions and still work beautifully. It's not often I can say that about a game once it's started going!
The more turned on people are by a sex scenes the less inclined they probably are to think about it - at least in a complaining or critical way. So maybe we could draw conclusions from that what could be the biggest problem of the scenes. Ch. 1 scenes were shocking, but, although not very detailed, exciting.

I thought the Ch2 scenes were still plenty exciting, except for that one the was too short to really get any excitement going (that had different emotions though). They maybe felt different, sure, but I wouldn't personally say they were lacking in excitement.
Agree. And I will add that, if it's true that sex scenes were not very detailed, they were very exciting because of the background, the build up, the context around them. They were exciting because they had a meaning. It was not just sex for sex.
This is obviously all very much a matter of personal taste. But for me just that what you say here is totally lacking for the Sunshine episode. I always come back to that, that I think this is the great flaw of this chapter.
It's interesting because I had the same impression than yours the first time I played chap2. Then, after replaying it twice or thrice, I managed to understand what the author wanted to tell us about Vivian. Of course you need to accept a certain form of "porn logic", but it worked for me.
But yes I agree that the sex scene with Sunshine and Rain is the weakest part of the update. Although I really enjoyed all the discussion between Vi and Sunshine in the pub.

after I played chapter 2 of my husband boss.
in my opinion in terms of design it's pretty good (although there is a chat scene in the car which I think is a bit down in design or graphics but it's a great thing for developers to be able to make scenes like that). for the story it's not bad but not as good as chapter 1 but I understand about chapter 2 there is a scene that seems to explain why chapter 1 happened (so...). yes it was very good and a little surprising for me. for the sex scenes, there were some scenes that I found interesting but there were also some that were like ‘hey why did that happen so fast?’. i'm still curious how my husband boss's story will continue after how Vivian's story will continue. it's enough to make me wonder? but this chapter has answered most of what happened in chapter 1. so my rating of chapter 2 is 4.3/5.

Guess the whole story is going to be a train wreck in slow motion.
I say that because there is no out... no redemption... just a total crash and burn since events will get worst. Forget the marriage... Hutch gave Vivian a kitchen pass with Christian. He wasn't aware of what villainy was awaiting his wife in the hotel...had he had known, nope--even Vivian would have liked for Hutch to tell her not to go to dinner with Christian. At that point there was redemption and reconciliation possible--the whole hotel thing put an end to any happy ending
To me the point of no return was the scene in the bathroom in chapter 1. What a humiliation, what a betrayal, what a treason for Hutch ! I think nobody could forget and forgive what he heard from his wife here.

For me, there's something different about this game that sets it apart from the usual porn games.
There's a story, a thread predefined by the Dev at the start of the game. So we end up with a mini-movie that has to be cut into series. The problem is that, as in any film, there are slow moments to advance the plot, and Dev has to include porn scenes at all costs.
So I can understand that there will be sex scenes that are more there to tell a story than for a simple pornographic gymnastic performance!
I'm sure there'll still be differences of pace in the next few episodes, but you'll have to savor the whole thing to see that it wasn't five episodes but one story!

Showing just how much this game hits people in different ways, I think the Sunshine and Rain event was the strongest part of the update. Obviously we don't know how it will impact things, and it already seems to have taken Vivian one way, and then she's swiftly turned back, but there hasn't been a lot of time to get into it yet - and she's seen Hutch for literally just two car journeys of unknown duration since, the second of which I'm guessing there was no conversation had at all!
I think the whole event (referring to the six actual scenes as one event) was really powerful in the context of Vivian's experience, knowledge, and mindset. It just now remains to be seen whether that will actually be the case, or if the rest of what she discussed that night/morning will just be written off...
To be honest, I'm waiting for the day when we will be able here to drop this simple dichotomy good "story" vs primitive "porn" or (not a lot more subtle) "story with porn elements which are ONLY to drive the story forward, I swear" vs dirty "sex for sex sake". We should be beyond that, esp in a place like this. What I woould like to see would be the elevation of proper porn to a specific form of proper storytelling in itself. And that's much more difficult than to pretend to tell a run of the mill story and insert "tasteful erotic scenes" (not saying this is the case here of course). One rule for that would be: sex isn't just there to serve a story which theoretically could do and was constructed without it and independent from it, but sex is the driving force behind the story and is presented and structured itself in the form of a story. The pornographic gaze would be a structural and necessary element of the method of storytelling in this case.

So theres a couple of things I've been more curious around for the future chapters that I genuinely can't really gauge potential outcomes so to speak
Vivans breaking point ( if there is to be one) - based on what's happened in ch2 I'm struggling to think of a scenario that would actually act as her breaking point/ wake up call ( again if there is to be one) but on the other side where does she draw the line while maintaining/ giving the impression that she is maintaining the marriage as this is looking like a slippery slope and she's all baby oiled up so I don't see how she's gonna slow down
Hutch/the marriage - so if the marriage doesn't end and she continues with Christian I genuinely don't see hutch turning into the submissive cuck that grows to eventually enjoy it , if anything with this I'd see his resentment start to grow and he slowly starts poisoning her food or something similar to munchausen by proxy ( but not murder) she can't fuck if she can't walk/leave the house .... Also if Christian calls for Vivian part of me would find it hilarious in this situation if she was like my husband says I'm not allowed to play with you no more
So the marriage let's say for the sake of argument the marriage some how survives the shit storm it's currently going through, Vivian is without a shadow of a doubt going to come back to it as a completely different person mentally, physically, sexually and any other allys you want to add .... So for hutch it is essentially going to be like a stranger has showed up claiming to be his wife so to speak ( even though yes it's still his wife but it's not going to be the person he married )
And for me I just don't know if I see hutch going for Vivian mk69 even if you take the sexual element away she is almost a POW ( war element aside ) but you get the point it's likely that she's going to struggle to re adapt
