I on the other hand, am now expecting very little from her, other than seeing her continue to be a hoe, and to keep cheating on Hutch, with a lot more dudes, such as the Token BBC student, the Twins, the Mechanic, probably even some random guys that Christian will throw her at too. Not much else.

I'm just sat here waiting for Hutch, to hopefully wake the fuck. And do SOMETHING to give me some spicy drama to enjoy...because this passive, passenger, pussy bullshit he's got going on, is getting annoying af...

After Ch 2, which I too think got decidedly off the rails in character development, I gotta agree Viv is a lost cause and it's Hutch that holds the key to things staying interesting. If Viv lived in Gotham City, she'd be running around in a cape and mask and calling herself Batslut. If she lived in Hartford or Bridgeport, they'd rename the state Connectislut in her honor. Sherlock Holmes would analyse her behaviour and call it an open and slut case. I reckon by the time this ends, anyone who goes down on her will have to keep quiet or all their noises will start echoing back from the cavernous maws between her legs.

No...It's really not...I've said repeatedly the only thing I would like to see now as of that CH2 ending, is for Vivian to suffer, and for Hutch to have a happy ending, with Addison as the preferred way...I'm not interested in just watching Vivian go from dick to dick, I want spicy, feelings type of drama, like what I got in CH1. Not watching a hoe be a hoe like I got in CH2.

Remember in the Code scene at chapert 1 end. Hutch said that he thought about everything and the best way way to move forward with Vivian working fo him. then he open the marriage. Vivian said she would always return to him.
Ok ... so far we have all made assumptions to what SCSTORIES is doing in the story ... and we have been wrong. Here is my latest twist.
Vivian "IS" the bait in the plan. She has sex with Christian in the car on the way home from the dinner. Hutch comes to the window and then leaves abruptly... 2nd, she had sex with Christian after the rape. BUT,,,, she say she has to go home when he asked to stay ! his is what she promised to Hutch at the end of chapter 1. I guess we will know if this is close very soon in chapter 3. Just a thought .

Almost always, devs ignore us entirely. Us guys have a nasty reputation for killing inspiration and motivation. We have so little sense of how we might be talking to guys who are a whole lot smarter and more talented than we are. Not that they expect adoration or anything, but really. I notice how players mostly speak deferentially and respectfully to Skyrim mod makers these days. So many times, mod makers there have gotten insulted and simply left the scene. These days it is mostly follower, appearance, and house mods. Nobody is putting in the effort to really put out a good story like Rigmor or The Forgotten City anymore. The third installment of Rigmor is abandoned I see. So really.

How about, if you don't want to watch her go from dick to dick, you might imagine that the dev has no intention of boring you like that. I mean guys who like that can go play Granma's House. SC has shown himself to be a much better story teller than that. So allow him to entertain you. He did say that there will be many surprises on the way. Wife might not turn out the way you think.

Well I obviously haven't written off the entire story yet dude, or I wouldn't be in this thread still. And yes he has shown some very good storytelling, in CH1. And then IMO, and some others judging from the mixed reaction to CH2, pretty meh storytelling also. So I'm gonna be here for at least one more Chapter, to see if Hutch has anything spicy for me, and if he doesn't, and instead it's just like CH2 again. I will just move on, just like SC himself said he expected to happen.

Yes, I think some people will jump off the train as the story progresses and the character arcs become set.

Yes, I think the ending will divide the remaining viewers.

And that will be okay, not everybody is gonna be happy with this story by end. That's just how it goes.

I agree though, that I would not be interested in seeing Wife descend into real prostitution and drugs (they usually go together) and her life completely destroyed. I would probably give up on this game if it started going that way. But I do give her permission to mess around a little, the same as Boss and Husband and officegirl. This is pornland where stuff like that is the name of the game. And you go, SC, show me what you got.

Right, that is what I said. But more than improve his stuff, he asks for help in motivation which suggests that he didn't know what to expect from us. Because, as I said, most dev's know to completely ignore us.

SC says, In particular, I don't use textual narrations and instead try to use visuals to convey action and emotion. As a result there is a very high image to dialog ratio (5-4). I'm mostly interested if this style of story telling is effective.

Given our inability to agree on much, it might be he is deciding that the technique he has been using is not as effective as he hoped. Could be. In many other games, the dev will display a single image and then provide 5 minutes of dialog. Between the two, I much prefer the 5-4 ratio.

as Wife and Husband sit together on a couch, his hand slowly reaches for hers and grasps it as she sits there crying.
Or even Boss's disgruntled look as he says, noble sacrifice, I get it.

Or maybe those things were simply not what a player was hoping to see.

I which case, I would have to agree, we are not as like-minded as SC hoped.

If you are going to take he action so much into account then you should also take into account how she repeatedly tries to reach out to Husband. As I have said, Wife is not a one dimensional girl. Her conversation with Boss in that final scene at the end of part two is also conflicted, not consistent. You see only the sex and do not give her credit for having feelings. In fact you treat her feelings with contempt, right?

the moment hutch seen his amazing wife bent over the picnic table willingly giving herself to the boss his life changed. his wife was his reason for everything he did in his life. he knew that moment he lost her. he knew her reasoning to him was just her guilt and she would continue to willingly cheat. hutch is many things but stupid is not one of them . hutch no longer looks at his wife the same.. episode 2 he almost started trying but as you see she changed and not for the better . all hutch did was wake up, go to work with the man banging his wife , try to make money to provide for his family and what was his reason for living doing? taking it in the bootyhole , in the driveway bar other persons home hotel room and anywhere else she could get it in the span of 2 days lol .. Yes, the difference is which actions do you choose to notice. Your best bet is to notice them all, I think. Words are also actions as are facial expressions.

Answers to questions like, what do you want from me? Actions like crying and a hand that reaches to another at such moments. Responses like, noble sacrifice...I get it. Because, you see, Boss does get it and his facial expression shows it. We should not be more cynical towards Wife than Boss is, at least.

I hear you raving about how bottomlessly worthless Wife is as nothing but a whore. Not so, I say. She is nothing but an image on a computer monitor, an it not a she. My idea of what a women should be like irl do not apply to her (it). I accept what dev tells me about this image. How could I judge an image on a computer monitor? So SC I hope you will continue to tell me about this image and her adventures. I hope you will be kind to your creation.

SC continues to surprise us with a story that’s rich in layers and ambiguity — nothing here is ever simple or one-dimensional.

Or will it satisfy those who want her husband to be cuckolded? Or perhaps those who are bull fans and want the FMC to be stolen entirely?

As far a adding multiple ending to MHB... no, sorry, not going to happen. Again, in a harem game, maybe different endings depending on which love interest wins the MC is okay, but just think about the work creating 5 mediocare endings versus one grand ending. For MHB, sure I could have one 'bad' ending and one 'good' ending but that just makes entire previous 10hrs of content irrelevant because the player picks the ending from a menu. The emotional investment is shattered when that options box pops up.
