its not her heart telling her to go home.. its the GUILT of her betrayals.Yes, this is all rw gospel. Not applicable in this totally unreal game where
Boss has taken over her mind at least, but not it seems her heart. She made a promise to Husband to come home. Her heart tells her she must.
If that would make her deny Boss in this case, it would also make her deny him in the others. No she knows what she must do for her Husband, because she promised.its not her heart telling her to go home.. its the GUILT of her betrayals.
We took the wrong junction long ago, before ch 2 even - at the very moment when we started to legitimize vivians actions as sexual liberation. Ch. 2 itself then hopped on that train.
The idea of sexual liberation does not exist in this make believe porn world where Wife and Boss and Husband live. Although some of us players might try to interpret the game in light of that rw idea. That way lies madness. We took the wrong junction long ago, before ch 2 even - at the very moment when we started to legitimate vivians actions as sexual liberation. Ch. 2 itself then hopped on that train.
So you are basically saying they have a dip in the marriage like ALL couples have at some point and it makes it right to do what she does? Why would he do things that could cause him more problems then he has now? Being passive is not the same as being weak.Sorry to disturb, but where do you see love between the two? It's the typical endgame of an exhausted marriage, two people used to each other. And I speak of both here, Hutch also.
We were highly critical with regard to Vivian, and rightly so. But maybe we should do the same with Hutch - not only regarding his weakness but also his actual feelings and motives towards Vivian. At this stage, it seems to be more a matter of dependency than love. Dependency is capable of enduring more humiliation. Love has pride and also shame - the latter one I esp miss with Hutch. Standing there and seeing his wife kissing the boss, that should not only trigger jealousy but also shame in the name of both so to speak - and we see nothing of that.
NOOOOOOO - where did I say that?. I just doubt that he loves her in that sense the word gets thrown around here lately.and it makes it right to do what she does?
Fine observation. Dealing with such dips is part of what it takes to make a marriage work. And that means talking about it honestly, and getting help from a marriage counselor if necessary. Because such things can be overcome and the good sex return if the couple really wants that. And to make the marriage work long term, they must both want that.So you are basically saying they have a dip in the marriage like ALL couples have at some point and it makes it right to do what she does? Why would he do things that could cause him more problems then he has now? Being passive is not the same as being weak.
I guess I misinterpreted your words then. To be honest I don't know what to think about Hutch. He opened the marriage to avoid a divorce but is it for love? Future updates will tell.NOOOOOOO - where did I say that?. I just doubt that he loves her in that sense the word gets thrown around here lately.
I don't think he did it to avoid a divorce. In fact he opened it, and Wife asked if he was sure, and he said, I don't care, do what you want. Except that he obviously does care. And asks her, at the end of the day, to come home. How sad that is when you think about it. I mean if you can quit hating Wife and wussifying Husband for a minute.I guess I misinterpreted your words then. To be honest I don't know what to think about Hutch. We should be so lucky as to get another chapter. We could start by acknowledging that SC is a great storyteller, and we don't expect him to feed us junk. There is no way we’re getting ANOTHER chapter, of Hutch being a passive watching useless pussy right…
pls Hutch…do something…You could start divorce proceedings against the bitch, you could go and start your own little affair with Addison. Hell, even though It would make me feel gross, and I would hate it. He could even find his balls and try to win his wife back…
Just do. Something. Hutch. FFS…

CH3 is the middle of the story so if nothing changes then well it probably never will. There is no way we’re getting ANOTHER chapter, of Hutch being a passive watching useless pussy right…

I'm going to regret this but. Why?We should be so lucky as to get another chapter. We could start by acknowledging that SC is a great storyteller, and we don't expect him to feed us junk.
If I were SC I would be discouraged, demotivated, angry at what you suggest.
If I were SC, I'd say fuck you guys. I'm going to spend the next 4 months in Bermuda with my girlfriend.CH3 is the middle of the story so if nothing changes then well it probably never will.
If you don't know there is nothing more to say about it.I'm going to regret this but. Why?
I couldn't blame him for thatIf I were SC, I'd say fuck you guys. I'm going to spend the next 4 months in Bermuda with my girlfriend.
I think perhaps a lot of people are reserving judgement on Hutch a bit until we get his part of the story. At the moment, we've not really seen much of him, certainly not in comparison to Vivian (and even Christian, given the time they've spent together). So people have been critical of Hutch, but there's still that uncertainty in there - where is his head at? Why does he seem so detached and lacking in fight? We've basically seen him from Vivian's POV (not literally, though), and need to see him from his own POV now.We were highly critical with regard to Vivian, and rightly so. I remember dev saying he'd done a good portion of Ch3 before even Ch2 because he works on the stuff that excites him first. He's looking forward to telling that part of the story, and I'm looking forward to finding out why. He also said that he wished he could release Ch2 and Ch3 together, as he feels they would balance each other out. That's an intriguing statement for me. Does that mean that we'll start to get that same sort of critical opinion of Hutch, or is it just a balancing out of the time spent with each of them? Either way, we've started to see what's driving Vivian and how her thought processes are changing, I can't wait to get the same for Hutch.
