It's kind of a bummer SC will be cutting some "numerous gratuitous scenes", was looking forward to those. Oh well, at least it's not abandoned just yet.

I actually wonder about the "cutting of scenes" what that actually means. Like, is it just some of the sex scenes are going to be cut out, but still be implied they happened? like with the 7 times in one night not being shown, but rather spoken about. Or if he means he's actually going to be cutting out entire potential "Vivian hoeing" side content, to instead focus on the main storyline with Ol Fuckface Mcgee (Christian).

Well if he cut out a certain path (say the twins) if he had thought of a sex scene there it will not happen. I don't even think it will be implied... because it will be out of the main story path. Chap2 Vivian admits that it was her that in Chap1 dropped her panties in the garden and encouraged Cristian to shag her under the belief that it would help Hutch to keep his job - Vivian was the instigator, shes is to blame and she was quite happy to humiliate her husband all night long with having sex with Christian.
Chap1 Vivian at the end scene is the one that manipulates Hutch into the accepting the open marriage arrangement, with the "I'll always come back to you"- Hutch may have suggested it but secretly it was a test to see how loyal Vivian was to going to be to him and she failed and her failing was deliberate, she can't get enough of Christian.

Chap2 - she drops Hutch like a good Sunday morning shiite after Saturday night out at their house and speeds off to supposedly confront Christian. She storm's into Christian home to tell him that she loves being dominated and the supposed r%£pe in the hotel turned her on and made her feel powerful, the experience made her feel like she could overcome anything before going on to have sex with Christian her alpha dog fantasy, she then admits to Christian that "she belongs to him".
If all these events and her direct and indirect action's that caused them to happen do not show you that she's the real villian, what will. Vivian action's are not about protecting and helping Hutch and saving their marriage, Vivian's is all about herself, Vivian is a calculative,self serving narcissist that is using and allowing herself to be used as leverage to hold onto a possibiley monkey branch onto a higher status man in order to preserve and hold onto to a lifestyle that she has become accustomed to and if she has to burn her entire life with Hutch to the ground to do so, she will quite happily do it. Vivian is the poster child of modern day 3rd and 4ht wave entitled delusional feminism, cry about wanting a good man, gets a good man but then destroys him to monkey branch to a high status man only to realises that the grass isn't always greener on the other side

I said the author can write the story as he or she sees fit. You make the assertion that the Boss wants Hutch out of Vivian's life. The boss was the one cryptically talking Hutch into not holding Vivian's behavior against her in part one. He was the one cryptically telling Hutch that he had to soldier on and put up with the cheating. He was the one who told Hutch to leave work and go home to be with his wife. Humiliating Hutch is a big part of Christian's game, but you think he wants to split them up.
Vivian, even in this scene, gives evidence of how her guilt is manipulated against her to get her to accept degradation and humiliation.
Using her, "hatred for herself" is how Christian gets her to accept the humiliation. What Reese did to her most likely made her even more susceptible to further degradation. Christian talked her into believing that she wanted to be assaulted. That is her state of mind at the close of chapter 2.
As I wrote before, Vivian is BOTH a VICTIM and a VICTIMIZER. Two things can be true at once. If her story was only about her lying, cheating, and betraying Hutch, then she would only be a victimizer. Her humiliation and degradation at the hands of Christian make her also a victim. She walked into the degradation and abuse, but it is still degradation and abuse. If she was a good wife and a good woman, she would have avoided all of it, as I have said many times.

In the end, you will not give up your desire to see Wife degraded and corrupted. You will be greatly disappointed with SC if that does not happen.
There is no point in my attempting to change your desire for such things. So enjoy yourself.

When she says she is with Christian right before the above scene, she isn't saying she is going to leave Hutch. You are the one who is not noticing what is going on in the story. She isn't breaking up with Hutch, and she isn't going to tell him they are breaking up.
He makes her give him a kiss before she leaves, just like he made her give him a kiss in front of Hutch earlier, but she is manipulating him now, right?
His grabbing her hair to show her who is boss must be part of her clever manipulations and her getting her way too, right?

Well, I've been reading ideas about the game here, but at the end of the game, I don't think Viv will stay with Christian. Chapter 3 will be the deciding factor on how Hutch will process this betrayal, cheating, and humiliation. As we know, we don't know exactly what Viv and Hutch's sex life is like because DEV hasn't shown us this yet, we just heard it from Viv when she told Christian. But what if Hutch humiliates Vivien by sleeping with another woman and Viv catches her. Then Vivien finds out what Hutch went through while she was having fun with Christian.
Since chapter 3 will be about Hutch and there's a scene or a picture, it's possible that while Hutch is in his grief, he'll meet someone or people and get advice from them or from her. Hutch will cheat on Vivien, which will hurt her a lot, but she enjoyed watching her husband fuck another woman. That way, they'll stay together and enjoy their marriage in an open relationship and a shared relationship. But without Christian! Christian will be the first loser, he will lose his ego, his company and go to jail.
But I also have a darker idea that Vivien will catch Hutch with another woman and she will be so hurt by what Hutch does that she will commit suicide.

I said that what she actually says and does supports my assertion that she has changed since the rape. If you deny that then you are the one dismissing what she said. The "You won" pic above is part of the exchange I describe below where she tells Boss to butt out of her life with Husband.
Your position has been milder on occasion than the hate, hate, hate treatment that others give her. For me, your positions are similar enough for me to reject them on similar grounds.

The rest of what you say in your post does not undo what happened here. She is the one playing him. She got what she wants. Of course he gives her the rough kiss she likes. She told him that she likes it rough. There is no indication here that she intends to stop being sexual with him at this point.
Of course she is not being consistent with herself. She says she can't stand the thought of Husband having sex with another woman. And yet she intends at this point to continue fucking Boss madly. She is doing better with the manipulation business, but her confused state is far from resolved. It is entirely unclear where SC is going as he leads her through resolving that. We simply have no idea. Right now, we see her resisting his attempts at manipulating her. It is a start. A good start. I cheer for her.

I am more than willing for the people on this thread to compare my arguments and evidence to yours because I know the people who are logical will see which of us makes more sense, and which of us is consistent. At this point we should just agree to disagree. Beyond that, we are wasting each other's time.

I'd say I'm surprised it's still going on, but I'm really not. From the replies, I'm guessing NS is still asserting that Christian is trying to get Vivian to divorce Hutch... but he likes taking what he can't have, he likes fucking married women, why would he want her to stop being a married woman and become "available"?
This isn't a romance story with the end game being Christian getting his happy ever after following however many years of fucking around with other people's wives...
