I see Vivian still caring very much in Love with Him... I think when Christian came out he said something Very deflating to Hutch about Vivian. It will all boil down to the conversation when Vivian goes home.

here is what he said.... This one doesn't really give much away, there are a couple sneaks from this evening's 'garden party' already out there. I just like the composition of it. The emotion of it.

Yes, I already quoted that. It is starting to sound like there will be a repeat of chapt 1's bedroom scene in chpt 3's garden party. I see Husband and Wife walking into the party with her arm in his. Very hub/wif like. Not at all like they are have anticipations. They look like two people walking into a party.

There is a scene in the previews where one might assume Wife is being fucked by Boss against a wall. That might be more likely at a party than the bedroom scene from chpt 1.

So perhaps the assumption is that Wife knows she is going to get fucked against the wall and Husband already accepts that. SC does say that everything that was not in chpt 2 will be in chpt 3. So that means the wall fuck will happen. Do we have certainty that it will be at the garden party?

And if we do because of previous comments by SC, how do Wife and Husband both know that is going to happen? Are they simply assuming that? Why would they, other than, "Oh well, anybody would think that"?

I would think that Wife, in the situation of anticipating sex with Boss, would be past the point of being sad about it for Husband's sake. I think there is another sadness there.

Astounding how a single photo can convey so much.
I notice a man—defeated, deflated, resigned. Arms at his sides, hanging loosely, shoulders slumped, chest collapsed, eyes wandering in the distance … lost. He already knows what the night has in store for him, and he can do nothing to change that.

Dev said this episode is about Hutch—and I’m truly intrigued. What’s running through his mind? What are his objectives, his inner struggles? Watching him unravel here makes me wonder just how much of him is still fighting inside, and how much has already given up.

Thanks that helps. Yes, it does look like Wife and Husband are waiting for Boss outside his bedroom door. I guess it makes sense either way, that pic is before or after the fuck. Wife and Boss go in and fuck while Husband waits outside, listening, I would assume. The question has arisen before. Why is it that Husband must be on scene witnessing every time Wife and Boss fuck?

Oh, my God, this story is so strange. I wonder if it will be possible for Husband and Wife to go on pretending that she is not fucking Boss. Maybe that is what makes chapt 3 end up being Husband's chapter.

In any case, I think the sadnes in wife in that pic is important.

About the other pic where Wife is looking rather angry. My bet is that Boss sent her to raped again, and she is, this time, having none of it. God damn you Boss. I bet. Player opinions on whether that is actual rape have not entered her mind, I suspect.

Or Husband is divorcing her, and she cannot accept that

Or Boss is sending her to have escort sex and this time she does know what is going on.

His hand is on her throat. He did that before when he was trying to force "I own you" on her. It might be he is now finding out that he does not own her in one circumstance or another. Hand on throat.

Or on her chin. Her expression looks to me like the cobra strike look, fury ready to unleash. If she strikes it will need to be effective. Knee to balls. Don't bother doing something that will only annoy him.

The next words out of her mouth, her next act, will tell the story.

The dev has already given signs of life which I'm very happy about, it's time to leave the thread for a while, I'll come back in a couple of months to see if there is a release date for the update, it's fucked up when something so good takes so long to come out, but I guess it's part of it being a great story and not just a developer looking to squeeze some cards, I also hope someone controls all the garbage that's filling up the thread hahaha

I am not sure. They are in the office though, so I wonder if it has become known that she is working for Christian, and if so, does everyone know she is Hutch's wife?

It's difficult to judge time - the sky is not visible through the windows, it looks darkish, but that could just be because of the purple slate of the rooftop opposite and the office lights being on (and they would likely be on all day). There's no one else visible in the scene though, with what you can see of the desks behind Vivian empty. That could mean it's in the evening, which is when Vivian is expected to work, or it could be any time of day and she's gone to the office thinking that Christian will be better behaved with others around (like the "leave your office door open" scene in Ch1), and this is just convenient framing for having no one else visible (or they're off to lunch or something).

Depending on which path Vivian takes, it could be that she's had a change of heart again and is trying to tell Christian "never again" and he's "putting her in her place", or it could be he's sending her to another client and she's trying to refuse. Or it could just be Christian reminding Vivian that she "likes it rough" and he's suggesting taking her right there (possibly even in front of people, but that would be the biggest surprise so far, IMO).

Either way, Vivian has been to the office before and it's not come out yet that she's linked to Hutch, so unless something came out during the business trip and Maxwell got wind of it, or something happens during this visit, there'd be no reason for any of Hutch's colleagues to know she is his wife.

Also notice the outfit, for those who took part in the earlier poll in the thread:

The poll was accompanied by the text: "Vivian has an important business meeting with Christian and can't decide what to wear." So the meeting is in the office... or they're just meeting at the office first and then going off somewhere together?

Notice the fine line of the car window. How precisely done. Kudos. It felt to me like it was a sharp edge cutting across Wife.

But if Boss tries to send her on another escort mission, she does know the score this time, and judging by the firmness of what she told him before about escort missions, this could be her refusing. I suspect the look says, do you dare get violent with me? If he does, I suspect it is over for her with him.

Or possibly this is him ditching her. He has had his fun.

Remember Vivian has a new found backbone. She verbally screamed back at Christian in the backyard after the rape She felt a NEW power. She wasn't afraid anymore. It even took him back a second. So true. So ignored by those who refuse to believe it.

Not to disrespect the opinions of others, but if we are going to assert this to be the incontrovertible truth that it obviously is which we should all be remembering, then we should acknowledge to presence of others who refuse to remember any such thing.

That being my major criticism of those who refuse. They tend to assert their opinions as incontrovertible truths, forgetting entirely the presence of us who don't think so. As if either side could convince the other of anything at all.
