And so do we all each and every one, as I have said a number of times. It doesn't matter, so I respond at that level. Of course there is zero reality to this, from start to finish. It could never happen. But I give up, let's pretent it could. My main point, time and again, is that the wuss/whore/stallion pattern is the very bottom level of understanding this game. There is much more here than that.
For sure. There are intelligent thinking people here though. I try to give them my time. Too bad if they don't want it.

For the sake of argument, I will grant you there is more to it than the Wuss/Whore/Stallion, but when you load up the game file, NTR is there in brackets in the title so at its core it is an NTR game and needs a cuck/slut/Stag - but your arguments and trying to prove its more are based on nothing - I shall say it again, this is an amateur story, written by an amateur author as a hobby. it's not going to be deep, full of hidden meaning, allegory or anything like that, yeah, there might be little things here and there and there might be much much more to it, but until the full story is released we dont know - you can argue all you want that real life tells us this, real life tells you that, but you are arguing from experience, an experience the author may not have and therefore no way to apply - its just meaningless subjective nonsense. We can only speculate from what has been shown to us, and so far, it's not showing anything deep and meaningful to suggest it's any higher than a wuss.whore.stallion
I do try to show evidence the same as others. I disagree with my points being based on nothing, as do others concerning their own wishes for this game. Many of my points have been made in the past few months. I don't see a reason to repeat what has been ignored previously.

The deep part of the game, I posit, is Wife and Husband both dealing with their conflicting emotions. Wife in chpt2 and Husband in chpt 3, as SC has told us. For Wife if is love of Husband vs desire for sex with Boss. For Husband it is love of Wife vs his knowledge that she betrays him. SC does tell us what those conflicts are. In chapter 3 we will see him do something about that betrayal if I understand SC. SC does say that chpt 3 will end with a cliffhanger like chpt 2 does. So it might be chpt 4, a year from now when we see the final denouement start to unfold.
Many players simply refuse to hear that, want to see it as w/w/s. I say SC intended to put those conflicted characters in this game and for a reason with a story to tell. Of course, unless you are tuned to that, you will not even notice.
Which might be part of the reason SC has not put this game on Patreon or Steam or anywhere. He knows that where he is going with this game will not please enough people to make much money from it. So be it, he says, I will have my say. I'm listening. Are you?
I say, since they do in fact actually love each other, reconciliation is possible, but not until Boss blows up his relaltionship with Wife one way or the other. She needs to learn the lesson about guys like him that he has to teach. He did tell her early on what kind of person he is. She has ignored that so far.
So, at the end of chpt 2, how has Wife resolved her conflicts? She believes she has settled Boss's hash, he will treat her well and respect her need for Husband. It is a cliff hanger because it is very likely she is wrong about all that. Then what?
I can hear the other guys howling, she is thinking no such thing, besides we can't believe a word she says, can't you?

Of course it is not pure chance. Boss is a stereotype of the homewrecker. He has perfected his technique over numerous previous destructions of marriages. As he has told Wife. Power and status. Homewreckers do not necessarily have that to offer. Only in this case is that so. But he is a stereotype, as all the characters are. And the timescale is greatly shortened from what it would take for something like this situation to develop irl. This is not real.
So the characters are pretend, the story is beyond unlikely. None of which really matters. This is a tool SC is using for his own purposes. It will be quite a while before we even get a glimpse of what those purposes are.

As I am looking at the posts, I think a lot posters who are disagreeing with each other, do agree on on a lot. Most seem to agree that Vivian is in the wrong, but how she fell, when she fell, the motives for her falling, why she keeps falling, does Christian involvement have any effect on her level of guilt, and if yes, at what point, all seem to be in dispute. I have one person on ignore, so I can't see those posts, and I am not referring to them when I say most. I find myself agreeing with different posters on some things, and disagreeing with those same posters on other things.
I think Vivian is motivated by a number of things, and I believe her motives have changed at different points in the story. By change, I am not only including new motivations, but also the decreasing and increasing of old motivations. I think the reason for some of the disagreement here is that the author has given evidence in the story for each of these motivations, but because all of us are different, we tend to focus on specific ones.

I think so too. More than in the past, more than we might realize.
All of them base, insecure, unworthy, ambitious, pleasure seeking, etc.
You sound like Freud trying to say that all human motivations reduce down to sexuality. It might be humans are more complex than that, but base motivations do explain a lot. But not everything. I think there is a risk in over analyzing Wife. She is not clear in her own mind what she wants, as she says mainly when talking to Sunshine. She is inconsistent and cannot choose betweeen Husband and Boss. Anticipating what she will do is risky. Not even she knows. At the end of chpt 2, she seems to think as she walks out of the door, that she will be able to continue having both Husband and Boss. I'd say the chances of that are really slim. Chpt 3 is Husband's chapter where he does do something about the situation, as SC seems to tell us. Wife is likely to find her dreams smashed.

All true and partially touched upon earlier in the thread - and you can only feel validated by someone whom you regard as someone of that stature, capacity and status capable to give this validation. Validation has to come from somebody who has worth and importance for you in your eyes, otherwise it's worthless. So sexual attraction, especially for women, is more than the magic dick, is more than the moment of physical pleasure - who could have thought that. It's even the other way around - physical pleasure and excitement is heavily influenced by those other factors.

Women have no real concept of what love or loving someone actually entails, as Vivians character is demonstrating with her attitude towards hutch, her marriage is purely transactional, her marriage means nothing to her if hutch can't provide her with the lifestyle that she feels entitled too

It is true though, they can degenerate into nothing or rise to something. You never know. That is something you will never do, which is know what other people are capable of. Maybe not even for yourself.

That was the strongest criticism this game received. I was sad, many were sad, and if the game developer reads this review, they'll be sad too. But everything you said is true. This game is very good, but in my opinion, the biggest narrative flaw is in Chapter 1. She slept too easily. She should care more about Hutch, love him, understand his weaknesses, teach him how to be smarter, more professional, and a better man. She should behave like a faithful wife. Of course, since this is a porn game and not a documentary about relationships, sooner or later she would give in to Christian's advances. But this should happen gradually, with an exchange of glances, a compliment, liking her photos on social media. The author needed to set the stage. Hell, the author could even create a prelude to insert sexting: during the night while Hutch sleeps, Christian would try to chat with her on the phone. Lewd photos, etc. Anything other than sex.

You might be right, but even for an NTR game, the sex scene in Chapter 1 was over the top. There are NTR games, and then there are NTR games that don't bother establishing a narrative, just featuring an attractive married woman in lewd clothing and a naughty stud who's going to have sex with her. The Japanese love that. There are more complex NTR games, with more elaborate betrayal. I've never seen that in a game, usually only in movies or documentaries. This game blends both concepts.
Just as we cannot demand an absurd level of complexity within the narrative, presenting a very shallow and meaningless story is depressing.

That would be adhering to the porn idiom. It might even be more like rl than what SC describes. Yes, it simply happens too fast. This is not real, and neither are the characters. It is all pretend, and not a pretending like we have become used to here on f95. SC is going somewhere we probably have not seen before with this. Let's enjoy the ride.
It is far too soon to say this story is meaningless and shallow. But yes, that scene is something never seen before here in pornland. So maybe we can try to understand it outside of what is normal in pornland.
