exactly what my thoughts.Wining and dining clients are eligible tactics when you wanna "charm" a client, meaning it's very hard to get. Most seen in cases the client got so many choices : choice of an attorney, investment banker, etc.
this is a dark path for vivian not hutch so it can be considered dark in a way that the dev describes as having a bad ending.since she is the 1st of the 2 protagonists in the vn.Something tells me its going to be Vivian who will want to return to marriage. Hutch is going to shut it down and give her a full recap of her escapades, as well as why he allowed her to do what she wanted to do. He'll most likely tell her he gave her a pass for his boss, he did not expect her to take this opportunity to fuck the town. Also he will blow up her spot about her doing something with the guys at her sons school and embarrassed her son now he wants to transfer schools because he is being bullied and harrased about how much to fuck your mom. She will lose her job because pictures will show up of her. Hutch and his son will move away to get some distance. Addison will not be with Hutch.
we know that hutch has a stable marriage without any problems for 22 years so we can speculate that he was quite good until now.We don't know that Hutch has never lost clients before.
in relation to my above point. hutch worked for christian for 6 years. and in the open part of the vn see the animations and the corresponding script. the dev is clearly showing the hutch was sure of his clients. and we may know later on about where hutch might have worked in future updates ... hence my theory is that its not hutch's fault but christian trying to find a scapegoat which happens to be hutch since christian is a manipulator and has got all he can from hutch. in context of 6 years working with hutch christian never knew about vivian so he was sure he would be able to let hutch and getaway clean from his screwup. Her husband has been doing this for 6 years, so he must have been good at sales ( espcially considering the first times he has lost clients ,his job is in jeopardy)
people keep saying wining and dining ... but in most cases this only happens after a deal is done not to get clients... thats for those who didn't know how most sales execs do it.... dunno about the rest of you in the chat but in my experience that's how we did it... and this is a avn so yes i will let it be that any one can just google and any one can do it... but there are some real life logic slipped into that between those extreme logic breaks that make us theorise and talk about it so much.. which is a major+ for me. tips hat to the dev. and to your 2nd point in a 2 company market it has no value its the profit margins that come into play. if you think that it's not they its you choice but we'll leave it at that.Wining and dining and trying to charm a prospective client is no less important when there are just two options available than when there are dozens. In fact, it's probably more important when the options are limited.
i find it troubling Huctch lost the very clients Christian warned him about.
it has everything to do with the clients ... chrisitan is just the first they try the wine and dine strategy. and another logic break is vivian going to talk with christian and saying hutch will come and invite you to dinner is in itself never happens dunno if anyone can relate to this. vivian saying so shows that its something they are experimenting with and dunno how to execute that game plan. and chrisitan would have seen through that. The wine & dine plan has nothing to do with convincing the clients. This wine & dine plan was Vivian's idea to persuade Christian to keep Hutch in the company Christian owns.
we know for sure that there are only 2 competing companies in that market. hence its usually the profit margin what decides the loss and acquisition of clients. and hutch has has worked in this company for 6 years....and most companies they dont and never use long term plans so as to have a bargaining chip for improving their returns. im sorry i maybe going down the rabbit hole a bit but people comenting about managing clients is all about the numbers in a 2 company market and 2nd the head of the company's head namely chrisitan.so real world logic aside just in terms of the avn the dev just give us bare minimum info and with a health dose of porn logic. and in regards to y the clients didnt inform hutch .... its a obvious answer. or else read my comment again.Oh and why did he lost two important clients without even knowing? Why did those clients not inform Hutch who should be their contact person?
From my pov because he's not very committed to this job. Only good for numbers but to handle clients is sth that is a little out of his reach.
yes he did when was referencing to the post about a render he made for his previous game or something similar. there are many ways that it can be dark from the pov of the protatgonists like in the a hutch being confident scenario its vivians dark path as she will lose it all.which she realizes after being caught and talks about it in the parking lot with christian. no directly talking and calling her husband.that in itself is dark for the husband who has known about her infedility since start.Dev told us his story will have a heavy dark end and all you guys come up with is that Hutch reaches a level of self confident out of nowhere and can cope with everything and anyone. That's just not going to happen. This story is not about Hutch!
we know christian is a manipulator player and all round ahole you think he will say i messed up and you have to wipe my ass as i made a shit of things by loosing the best clients by fucking around with their wives. we know the company has 6 offices each for different division from the game dialogue. and chrisitan also mentions moving hutch to accounting which can be a different location... this is real world logic now some companies who are mid size and above compartmentalise their operations. so having different offices for defferent roles in very effecient. and being the only 2 compience in the sector/field/area that they are in they have high profit margins to have multiple offices which inturn implies they have good accountants who in this case in hutch. hence wine and dine isnt requireed here. and the reason no one know about hutch's 10/10 wifi. and since the big accounts are lost the boss know that he can kick hutch as he can nothing more to gain from him. which maxwell might have seen more than once and jumps to that conclusion as does hutch.Christian told him to shore up all of his customers, not just the two who then left.
We don't know how big the company is, just that the sales office is the original office before they expanded. It could be really big - we just don't know what service they provide. Maybe they don't need a huge office, it doesn't mean they aren't really successful (successful doesn't automatically mean physically huge).
nope christian was the first they would try the wine and dine plan on and vivian going to talk to hutch's boss about it that it self show she didnt read the whole plan that she googled and or she has only1 or maybe no brain cells.
There are a lot of scenes without sound which is really unfortunate, for example the first scene when Hutch approaches the door and hears the groaning sound is great. But it seems that the developer has no plans to fix this scene soon, what a pityYou might be right about the 0.4. The 0.2 version was about 5k images, and then in another post he goes all that's needed is another 20k images. So, in the future, he might aim to do 0.2 jumps, and there'll be four more.
But, if that is the case, it means that we could expect to play through 6 days of content each time the game is updated. That that would be great. I love playing through that amount of content.
nice summary and i have to say those three endings were the ones i see as most likely happening and if its the 3rd then i will hate it. any way to read your works. ty.A dark heavy end is fine. Having written quite a bit myself, I believe readers, to be truly engaged, there needs to be someone or something to root for. In that scenario, I can absolutely see Hutch gaining the upper hand "eventually." After all, every person has a limit from which they rise or spiral into oblivion.
Obviously, Christian is the "evil" in the story. Vivian, while complicit, is manipulated by Christian. Christian is also manipulating Hutch (duh!), and I hope the author doesn't just leave it at surface level and have Hutch continue to be manipulated to the end. That would be WAY too shallow. I'm hoping (praying even) that we get a more complicated Hutch, one that, over time, begins to twist the circumstances to his benefit.
Christian's niece, the one who's nice to him (I believe it's his niece, I'm not sure typing this, so forgive me if I'm wrong), is a good way to start. Hutch mentioned that he's "open" to a different relationship. The word "open" is weighted in the way he brought it up out of nowhere. Now, the question is, will the game move toward "scorched earth" where Hutch destroys both Vivan and Christian? Will it end with revenge on Christian and forgiveness for Vivan? Or heaven forbid, Hutch is destroyed.
I would be disappointed if Hutch remains a cuck to the end. Shallow story, and honestly, a failed ending. It has to have some depth for Hutch to make it anywhere near believable. A dark heavy end, like I mentioned, is fine, but if it's Hutch that goes down, it will be a failed attempt at writing. If I wanted that, I would rewatch Uncut Jems. What a waste of time that movie was.
the last interaction in the update where hutch again is saying let him be the man of the house which was used earlier by vivian when she take matter into her(pun intended). the code talk the script is clear at first saying do it but when hutch say let him be the man of the house and after he say don't do it or do it it's up to you vivian should have opted out and said that she wouldn't but we all know that if she did that would be the end of the vn. since we don't have choices hutch keeps giving vivian a way out but she keep make all the wrong choices. which in turn goes back to christian counseling/manipulating hutch at the carpark. the first 2 statement might be more accurate to the story in future updates than anyone thinks.... that's how i feel from how the dev weaves the feelings the manipulations the logic(real world and porn game).and regarding your last statement that's more close to real life i think. and which is why we are going nuts on the theories and reasoning.I wonder what she will think of herself when she realizes that she is basically becoming a whore for hire. How will she face Hutch? What will Hutch think when he finds out? Will she even care? This is not the price of love in any ones books!
relax bud..... everyone has their views and ideas and thoughts we are here sharing them. so lets keep the theories rolling and the possibilities "OPEN".I see you still don't get it.
the dev said so himself that it's his hobby project and doesn't have the resources to do more like he stated in one of his posts. but fingers crossed he might do a touch up or rework this avn with more sfx at a later date. There are a lot of scenes without sound which is really unfortunate, for example the first scene when Hutch approaches the door and hears the groaning sound is great. But it seems that the developer has no plans to fix this scene soon, what a pity
Correct! (More below.)You are mixing the wine&dine idea with the five-point plan Vivian worked out for Hutch.
Also correct, to be fair! The office work and all the speculation surrounding it are not that important or interesting.
Where does that come from? I don't think we have anything that sets a limit on it...Keep in mind that we will have a maximum of 3x3=9 sexual acts per episode.
As per the screenshots, it's a plan to "show the human side" - see below, from the script:Wine&dine is not for the customers/clients, it was only planed to persuade Christian.

They're going to "practice what they preach" - do for Christian what they're suggesting they do for the clients. It's all the same thing.Vivian: "Focusing on interpersonal relationships with clients... good...."
Vivian: "Making a personal connection with them... excellent..."
Vivian: "Family... I like it..."
Vivian: "This is good, Hutch. Researching the client's personal lives, hobbies, interests...."
Vivian: "... incorporating that into your social interactions and sales pitch. This is really good."
Hutch: "Yeah... 'cause it's your idea..."
Vivian: "No... it's YOUR idea... and you are going to sell it to your boss as YOUR idea."
Hutch: "How?"
Vivian: "Hhhmmmmm...."
Vivian: "By practicing what you preach!"
Hutch: "Huh?"
Vivian: "We'll use this on him... you already know a lot about him."
Vivian: "We'll invite him to dinner, cook his favorite dish, drink his favorite wine..."
Now you see it! Wine and dine the clientsA good salesman must outdo others by offering something that the client likes. You take them to their favorite sports game, to their favorite restaurant, do them kids a fravor, whatever. If you stand still in good hope they will sign a contract with you, you clearly underestimate other salesman. This is how real world works nowadays.
You would do it both before and after - one as part of the sales pitch, showing the customer your human side and trying to get them over the line to sign the contracts. Then you keep them sweet afterwards, keep showing them that you appreciate them and care about them as humans, basically working to keep them as your clients. It all depends on the scope of the business and the product. If it's something with a large amount of money tied into it, you would pull out all the stops and look to make the prospective client your friend (not literally, but just being on good terms with them) so they bring their business to you. You won't win them all, because your rivals are no doubt doing the exact same thing, but you'll get some of them. I've been on some of those events with prospective clients in the past, and I've been to very similar events with existing clients. The only difference was we'd be a bit less stuffy with the existing clients, because we already have a relationship, whereas we're still building one with the prospective clients.people keep saying wining and dining ... but in most cases this only happens after a deal is done not to get clients... thats for those who didn't know how most sales execs do it.... dunno about the rest of you in the chat but in my experience that's how we did it...
Is that a bug though? What needs to be fixed? There are a lot of scenes without sound which is really unfortunate, for example the first scene when Hutch approaches the door and hears the groaning sound is great. But it seems that the developer has no plans to fix this scene soon, what a pity
have to agree with you on that. i'm not debating the statements in relation to real life ... im talking about it from the vn point of view as well which is the porn logic. and yes having worked i sales hr and tech i know that there are different approaches to different problems ... my beef with this logic is that everyone assumes its hutch's fault when it comes to sales and losing clients. but its not. especially where there are only 2 companies vying for the clients and and in a business sector where one of the 2 companies can afford to have 6 offices. in this setting they aren't trying to get clients but maintaining them. hence my point is that the wife who has no idea what she is doing thinks that she know better and goes behind her husband's back to the boss. now after speculating so much i feel like i'm rping...and again ill state my theory for this wonderfully crafted game is that is was all christian's fault for fucking around with the wives of clients at such wine and dine events. this is not just my theory other members have posted this as well. apologies to those who may think i'm pirating your theory. You would do it both before and after - one as part of the sales pitch, showing the customer your human side and trying to get them over the line to sign the contracts. can you link your theories please... big fan of fan fic theories.A lot of good theories. We just have to wait for the next update before hopefully we get some answers - good or bad (or bad or good, depending on which way you look at it).
Vivian is primarily the main MC in this game (obvious by the shear content she has, as well as the title). So I can only assume any dark ending would be in relation to her. I'll still go with my one![]()
