Probably all the above. I think he is resigned to the fact that she enjoyed it so much in the bathroom scene, regardless of what bullshit she was spewing out at home. He actions spoke volumes, so did her "Whatever you want" comment to Christian.
Her actions destroyed a loyal and loving husband, and made Hutch susceptible to the manipulation of Christian.

.lets not forget the dialogues in the bathroom which was the final nail in the coffin. the whole dialogue during the bathroom scene not just the parts you mentioned.
SC Stories said he will post a progress update in a week or 2.... so might be a sneak peak never know. like TheDuke9999 said we already got quite a few sneak peeks..... so limit expectations and you wont be dissapointed.

I think what also has to be a factor for Hutch is that he believes that if Christian wants to keep fucking his wife then he will. And there's not much that Hutch can do about that, at least he believes.
I searched for that game ("momma's boy") but couldn't find it. Do you have a link?

If there is something like a revenge or protest arc (I'm not expecting or hoping for it), I would imagine Hutch as a distant relative to the protagonist in Michael Douglas' "Falling down" - as I tend to see his whole existence a bit like that, he's that type of "everyman". His physiognomy has not only hurt but also this long time suppressed anger in it. It makes a big difference in the interpretation of the game if we see him as such an everyman who could be us or as a different weak species, a loser from the start whom we see with contempt. I definitely see it as a tale of "if you go that route, if you are living under these conditions, this could happen to you, don't you fool yourself".
At the moment his passivity is just pure powerlessness. I don't buy he is really entertaining this sharing-ideology of "do it for your wife, let her have her fun, let anotherone give her what you can't and thus rescue your marriage". I don't think he is wired that way. He is just shocked and too weak to do anything at the mment.

An excellent example with Douglas, a great movie. If we relate the situation to him – Hutch has just gotten stuck in traffic... My first interpretation was based on this, that when things get to the triarii, Hutch (possibly with Vivian, possibly with Addison) kills Chris (the motive from Funeral).
The guy in Falling down got fired, lives separated from his wife and mustn't see his kid if I remember rightly. And he looks like a number's guy. But like you I see the relation on a more abstract paradigmatic level of type and existential situaton. More precisely: A man who thought he did everything what was expected from him and finds himself in hell.

However, with a slight mix-up of roles – but if such 'parties' happen, and I believe they will... Hutch will be completely lost. Besides, I think the scene in the go-go club is a preview of this. Christian is playing with both Vivian and Hutch at the same time.

hutch will be driving them home, cant wait to see the fun in the back seat lol then the bedroom while they force hutch to wait on the porch.

I think we will be wrong about Hutch. I think he is controlling his feeling with anger management. THe last scene with Vivian we see him wake up that a little bit. I think we will start to see him plotting that revenge soon. But, he will still have to deal with whatever Vivian is going to do with Christian or what ever he has planned. Stay tuned .... Hutch is coming back ! Maybe that is what will turn this story dark.. Hutch starts to get evil in his plans for Christian and maybe Vivian. I am interested to se if and how Hutch may or not open up to Vivian this release. Will he kiss her ? Say " I love you " , anything remotely emotional...
That's probably Chris's plan; he wants to set up Hutch like in the memory from the kitchen. He will slowly break his will and subordinate him to his commands (meaning – that's his vision). Meanwhile, Hutch is doing his thing, knowing he has to endure to take revenge. I'm afraid that saving Vivian is not an condition "sine qua non"

I don't think Christian will have any power now over hutch. He has come to grip on Vivian and him. That is why he open the marriage. Now it is revenge time... I do not think it will be physical... but possibly financial or some other means . But by the look on Hutch face... it is coming.

i think hutch was to weak to save his own job and i think dev has hutch going down a long twisted dark road.. just my opinion tho.

Duke LOL You may be right.... But I think the Dev has a little more character built into hutch that an a deer in the headlights. I could be wrong... probably am... but I would like to rise and be Rocky ... come out fighting !

first off vivian is gone, she is done .. she is already looking for more vitamin D than christian has to offer.. whats he going to save? whats left to save honestly? all christian did was expose her for the slut she always was. what is hutch fighting so hard to save?
I two have wondered this if they will kiss again or have sex anytime soon or if he will even say I love you back or will you hit a boiling point and be like while you do this you fucking repluse me and I can barely look at you
Like will she still worry as she has said that hutch's love language is touch or sex or something like that , so it will be interesting to see what happens next
