**Not all is as it seems - those who work in the shadows**
1. Hutch, is he really as weak as he is being portrayed, or is he playing a role? Is Hutch really a scheming, manipulative and calculated psychopathic genius out for revenge for past betrayals committed by Vivian and Christian against him and other people he loves, that Vivian and Christian think that they got away with? Is Hutches son really his or possibly Christains?
2. Vivian raises early, leaves the house without Hutch noticing, or did he? to talk to Christian about the new strategies, did we really get that full scene in the office or will there be a flash-back showing us what really happened?
3. Vivian and Christian have a past connection that they think Hutch doesn’t know about! Is this really the first time Vivian and Christian have met, conspired etc? Remember the initiated seduction at Christians house was too easy, was it planned out before hand? Hutch did not put up no fight, where he should have, was this deliberate, springing the bait?
4. Hutches detachment from Vivian to supposedly let her think that shes in control to do what she REALLY WANTS TO DO with Christian, appears (from a husband that supposedly loves his wife) too easy and a well thought out and calculated move, the plan has now been executed and set in motion, Vivian and Chrsitian have entered the trap.

Her son's neighbors are two idiots, how can they blackmail her? She'll tell them to fuck off and they'll leave. I think any woman would be stupid to fuck with such guys.

it is one thing to leave room for overinterpretation and another to blatantly lie to the viewer.
I suppose it's a fantasy so they'll come up with a stupid reason that makes no sense. Most blackmail or coercion schemes wouldn't work at all in real life. For one thing people would notice it, record it, and the people would get in trouble. Especially in the modern world. However, this is a fantasy. In real life Vivian probably would have reported her husband's boss to the police and he would have gotten in trouble. In an adult fantasy it doesn't happen because people are actually her to see her have sex with random people in uncomfortable situations and to see her slowly degrade. There many be a few people that want to see a loving relationship and for nice things to happen, but that's only one side of the coin. Nothing really makes sense or is realistic in corruption/blackmail adult novels IMO.
As an example, what if the kids followed her? They seem shady enough to harass her in front of her son. Maybe when they're watching her they see her sleeping with her husbands boss. They record it and use it to get her to sleep with them.

I agree with you, but in life things can happen that we cannot even imagine in our wildest fantasies.
As for the police, the question is debatable, she went with him voluntarily, it is difficult to prove the fact of harassment here, he will claim seduction on her part with subsequent receipt of benefits, and they both came together and by conspiracy.
The fact is that MHB is very close to reality with conventions and simplifications and this is its peculiarity and difference from the rest. I really hope that we will soon see at least a partial resolution of these issues.

i like the theory and how you structured it... i think we have a some idea as to what that disappointing event is from the sneak peaks. the party at christian's backyard. we have a few sneak peaks in the game description of this event. that is from update 3(0.6). how that event is executed might be the straw that breaks the camel's back. then it can lead into addison having a chance with hutch in update 4(0.8) which SC Stories called it fallout...i maybe wrong here with the name.

i love theories but if this VN follows the path its going with no choices i just dont see hutch an son having a happily ever after ending at all.

Yep agreed. As stated before, the story is king in this game, the sex should be meaningful to progress that story, and not take over.

To each their own I guess. I do enjoy stories to an extent, but I actually like when one woman has sex with lots of different men in different ways. That is actually my favorite fetish. I prefer it to when one guy has sex with lots of women or one guy and one girl have sex. I usually don't put as much stock into stories in visual novels as I find they're just a tool to get to the sex scenes. There's a few games I've played where the setting, story, and dialogue add a lot to the sex scenes.

I also think that this is our wet dreams, Hutch is too weak for concrete actions. He will bring himself to complete moral exhaustion and become his own shadow.
But we will hope for the best until the end, because we understand in our souls that he did not deserve such a cruel betrayal and such a vile attitude towards himself.
I think this is a grey area where people end up in self torture that isn't really necessary all based on crazy moral ideas. For instance, she cheats on her husband, but it's really due to blackmail and bad judgement. Even if she cheated for no reason it's still just sex. Basically it's body parts rubbing together and some fluid exchange. Sure there can be some emotional connection between lovers, but not always. There's no real reason for either one to feel bad or betrayed unless that is in their moral values. If so, they will suffer unnecessarily with self torture and it will do no one any good. That seems like the definition of mental illness. It's better to just accept it and move on IMO. However, this is just an adult game and I like them more to get away from the seriousness of the real world.
correct, from a directors point of view, you suck the audience in (with a lie) by presenting them with scenes that appear to be truth (the set up), make the audeince believe that what they are witnessing in real time is the actual events as they apparently unfold , but its not ( this is for our benifit, the misdirection), here audiece look this way (distraction method) as in vivian and christan (from the audence perspective) only meet for the first time after hutchs apparent fuckup, which in fact isnt ture ( which is revealed at the end of the game by hutch, when he reveals who he really is) hutch knows that vivian and christian go away back , theyve have shady history they thought they could hide from every, including hutch (the psycopahtic genius), but he has known about all long, revenage is a dish best served cold

of course i know..... still can't all be "batman" doom and gloom until it happens in the kn. be it real life or ntr games... there is never a happy ending .... maybe sometimes the hoe gets a happy ending....well see how it turns out in the next 2 updates how the story will progress and we can make a more concrete ending instead of possibilities. but like senior posted theory... it's very close to my thoughts for how the game will end... even if it's an okay bad ending... not all dark.
