It wasn't banned. My understanding (I haven't exactly been following it, nor have I played the game) is that a campaign to get it banned because of rape themes was started but the dev just pulled it from Steam himself. From what I've seen of the game, it's actually pretty tame considering some of the other titles out there (some of which are also probably on Steam and have just escaped the same sort of notice).

Not only its direct impact on women (which I'm not in the position to talk about and which remains largely hidden) but also its indirect impact on how men here interact among themselves (a certain atmosphere of moral defensiveness and even unhealthy self-loathing is better comprehensible when seen as attempts to distance oneself from these aggressions against women or as an acceptance of collective guilt).I was not referring to you. Fair enough I haven't been following it overly closely myself to be fair , there's another game I've seen on here and it's pretty grim to be fair but like I've said I've not played NM as of yet

I'm going to definitely follow this thread, i haven't yet played the game but I see that it's highly recommended and it's not the typical FMC game who will cheat just because, emotions are involved. Not to mention I don't see ugly, old and fat bastards and if all male characters are hotties, this will become my fav game. Props to the Dev for making a FMC look like a normal attractive woman without silicone tits or a bimbo Barbie doll.

I don't think this is a place for societal ideas of morality. There are bad things that happen to all genders and races. For some reason women are especially protected these days above others. I think due to feminist groups. However, we should remember that this is only fantasy. If it were real and the woman was affected in a negative way then it's something to consider, but again everyone has their struggles. Protecting one group over another because they seem more vulnerable doesn't seem fair or right. Morals are almost always subjective and biased based on groups that have money, power, and influence. There are so many things that could be considered immoral that women and all people do today to make money and don't bat an eyelash, but when it comes to sex anything that disempowers women or presents them as weak and vulnerable is considered a horrible thing. If you really look at things with an open mind there's a lot of hypocrisy going on. There always has been, but it differs depending on the groups currently paying for peoples educations, schooling, and content production.
Is the thermometer more touchy just because it shows a higher temperature? ;-)

Yes we want to see Vivian have sex... It is a porn game and she is hot. however, We also like the happy ending so will they kiss and make up. I Don't think so... Not this time. But I am secretly hoping... for a non dark ending for them. Christian can go to....H !

Both gender can cheat either out of love or sex because of another person. Also, idk about men but women will cheat if there's a richer guy. So, I never saw, heard or read that a woman cheated for a bigger dick.

This is an interesting point.
I have never seen a woman cheat for this reason. Even in dramas involving female infidelity, the cheating is more about money or emotions, while almost all male infidelity involves a woman who is hotter than the wife.

Man, this is something I don't understand. I really hope the ending is happy. But I don't know how someone has the strength to forgive something so immoral to the point of still living with the person who betrayed them.
I don't know, it seems like my honor wouldn't allow it.

Idk what to say, I have never been in her place. Just like people say they are happy and nothing is amiss but they can still cheat, so people who are in love break up because sometimes love isn't either strong, enough or they can't get over problems in life. If Vivian at the end do the right thing and face her husband and divorce him, then they can have new life either together or separate. If she doesn't, then a karma exists. Watch Indecent Proposal movie, it's similar to this game.
