I managed to get my hands on the original draft of the game, but it was much shorter, so I'm happy that SC Stories scrapped it in favour of extending the story. Here's the "alternate" sequence of events from where Hutch was given his "homework" task at Christian's house:

SC Stories Vivian is built on the "Charity" model but heavily modified (boobs,ass,aging,skin,tan lines). I don't mind fan art but I'm not sure I'm ready to give out all her details. I'll think on it.

Glad to see a lot of passion in the comments still. Everyone has grand visions for the future and some strong opinions on how to achieve that. I'm still confident my story is on 'the road less traveled' and is a new take on an old genre.

I did not set out to make this perfectly believable. As Tony showed, that would have been a very short and boring story. If you want real life I recommend the customer service line at Walmart. None of my favorite movies would pass for real life but are entertaining none the less. That's all I hope to convey here... an entertaining story. You can be unrealistic but still have a good story with realistic dialog and good production value within that unrealistic world. I don't pretend to know the psychology of a man or a woman nor do I believe they'd react the way I portray them. Maybe I'm misreading some of the posts but if anyone is actually angry because real people wouldn't act this way, I simply ask they enjoy the story for what it is... a story. If you hate that everyone is unlikable and there is no one to root for, I recommend you dip out now because you won't like where this is heading. I stated early on that I create this for myself and share just to give back. I'm not chasing patreon subscribers or steam sales so while I'm happy others are enjoying this, I'm not influenced by outside suggestions.

I'm perfectly fine with a fan art thread, I'm just not ready for perfect Vivian clones out there and perhaps people getting confused about what is cannon and what is fan fiction. Therefore, I won't share many details but yes, she is G8 Charity. Hopefully there is enough action in my game people won't need to do to MHB what they did to AWAM. But when this project is finished I might upload her as a complete package for others to play with or maybe create sequels/prequels. If people have questions about other specific assets (character or set pieces) private message me and I'll get back to you. I will say I use several hair products from OOT(out of touch) and WF(winfield). Should be easy to find.

Still actively working on it. Previous time estimate is still reasonably accurate. TRying to get done what I can while weather still poor. Once it warms up I'll slow down because of life. No more sneak peaks (they'll just give away the plot). Leaving in the 'auto advance' feature. I know it's unpopular but my #1 fan likes it.

The "subtext" in the conversations between Hutch and Christian is clearly the voice of mainstream society speaking. And because of that it is so convincing and successful with Hutch. It is not some sinister genius coming up with something original but the usual tropes in store for a betrayed husband ("man up" by swallowing it). The problem for Hutch (not being discussed enough sofar, but a lost the middle weeks of discussion here, so I'm not sure) is, that there is no accepted script for him (who is of course a weak character who would need such a script because he can't come up with one himself) anymore of how to act in this moment. Of course it is easy for us as someone said above to be sure to have landed in prison or hospital. I'm not so sure. First thing we are all totally conditioned to avoid even the slightest bit of bodily harm and violence at any cost. Males legitimately enraged because of betrayel, the righeous anger of a newly cucked - this is not a thing anymore in mainstream movies or novels let alone society (don't want to get into judicial matters). Point is: the framing Christian offers is the one that is seductively in tune with what is expected from a civilized loving tolerant husband and, what is more important, it offers the easy well adjusted way for Hutch in this context as disgusting as it does appear to us who are in the voyeur's seat. Hutch, reacting on his authentic impulse would have needed to exit not only marriage and job but also the hive mind of current society including that of his male colleagues who are sitting there like malicious idiots who belittle him but would have acted the same, they are just happy they weren't targeted this time.

1. I'm of the same opinion (although reluctantly because it would mean a waiver of hot scenes). But it's interesting to see why people would hope that or the other. I think there is a moral economy behind it, it's not just for the sake of a good story. I would guess some people would find it degrading to the character and a sort of harsh condemnation-like punishment for something which should be seen with more understanding. And others a wanting it for that exact reason: the wife has clearly entered this route out of free will and she has to savor the consequences up to the last drop so to speak as kind of higher justice. She lands in the position she deserves. I myself would very much like her to get what she deserves BUT in a more interesting and original way, not just this "for the streets" trope.
2. But I'm also strongly against a redemption arc. I think it would degrade the story exactly the same. It would be cheap and implausible. There has to be a third way

Options for Hutch (or betrayed husband in general) in the order of conventional societal expectation/acceptance
1. 100 years ago: 1. violence 2. exit (would already have been seen as a bit of cowardice and as an overall failure) 3. accpetance (not possible, not accepted, basically no real option)
2. today: 1. exit (realistically what most would have done I like to think) 2. acceptance (today the easy way externally. more or less long term, depends on the circumstances and on how many people know etc.) 3. violence (not accepted anymore not only legally but also more and more socially. and furthermore if he lost that bodily fight with the boss he additionaly would have been severely mocked. This option has only costs and almost no benefits today apart from acting out rage in the moment and he feeling, that you owe this to yourself, but the costs are overwhelming. You are out on your own)

the first thought that came to my mind when thinking about this topic was law... we have laws for defamation which is like funny to me... and more serious laws like emotional abuse. don't want to stray too far from the game topic so in relation to that if hutch did inflict harm to christian when he found out in the backyard if would have been self defense on hutch's part... this is a lose interpretation on my part as i don't know know full extent of what that law covers as i didn't want to google it like vivian and post some ideas.
so it's not the law that is stopping hutch from inflicting violence. the 2nd part of this .... since hutch didn't take action and this emotional abuse continued... any harm done to christian after the backyard yard would be treated as intent to cause harm which is what you meant when you wrote conditioned instead of taught/made to do.(i maybe wrong here).
in relation to society it all comes down to the individual and his core values... like for men its hunter(conqueror mentioned by someone in a previous post), protector and provider. don't want to do a deep dive here as it will deviate too much from the game topic. what are hutch's core values... and how he prioritises them. he definitely is not shown as a hunter... if he was this game would have ended on the backyard scene. in the absence of one of the core values the other generally are more distinct and we know he is a protector and a provider (that's how i see the devs way of hutch reactions unrelated to the emotional turmoil he is in since the start).
back to the point about society being the root cause of the problem... i don't think so. the man who is a following the society is compliant and is also a fault for letting it happen. or as you put it exit the social environment that is the cause for it.
in conclusion there is enough blame to go around in the vn not just on vivian and christan but also hutch and the coworkers who have poor or no moral compass/ethics/principle.

ps: i know this feels more like a rant than a comment .... to dealbreaker, i'm just voicing my views. not all just a few thoughts..

finger crossed... when you finish... just a suggestion if you plan to create sequels/prequels or rework(adding sound effects), it would be helpful to you if you enlist some of the eager fan art creators who are rearing to have a go in the current game. as they are doing it for free and will save time between updates...only on future "projects" if you want to..that way you won't have the long lul between update, i know 4 months isn't long for normal kns but you have raised the bar too high.
