Mostly told from the wife's prospective but some from the husband's viewpoint so I gave it the multiple protagonist tag. But you don't really play as either. More like a movie than a 1st person POV.
Come on, when he says that Vivian is not the protagonist and then says that the protagonists are multiple, what can we conclude? That Hutch is the protagonist or that we are not guided in a single perspective and that she is not the focus of the story, but rather that she and Hutch have important roles? Did the author himself make a mistake by putting the game's tag as multiple protagonists, where he himself says he did? If it is his mistake, tell him to change it to a male protagonist, but then I think that proves what I said, you interpret things beyond what the author showed and said.

You do realise just because there are multiple protagonists it doesn't mean that there cant be a main character out of whatever protagonists have been put in place

SC Stories said something like - this is not Vivian's story, even though we spend the most time on her, this is Hutch's story about how he will cope with a loss-loss situation.

There has been nothing definitively said that it's a lose-lose situation for hutch and you know that Luc , it might be your preference for it to be that but as far as we are aware that hasn't been set in stone

Every porn director has to ask himself: is he more interested in the object (her corruption, her acts, her debauchery), or in the voyeuristic subject (and Hutch is becoming a forced voyeur), which is our representative as viewers within the story itself so to speak. The first is naive pornography, straight on the target, the second is sentimental (Schiller's distinction betw the naive and the sentimental), meaning self-reflexive, digested, problematic. This game is of the latter sort, and therefore is Hutch the center of gravity.

You know, it's hard to come out of this with a win. Even in the happiest possible ending, the relationship—and Hutch—will go through hell. In every other scenario, someone gets utterly destroyed, and the relationship falls apart. Actually, even though Hutch takes the biggest hit emotionally, Vivian is the one who, in almost every version of this, ends up losing everything in the near future. She’s got a narrow path to redemption and a highway to damnation.

I don’t want to overstate it, but there’s a certain allegory here—Hutch as Adam, Vivian as Eve, and Chris… Snake (Plisken ;) ).
The fall isn’t just metaphorical—it’s emotional, relational, moral. And just like in the old story, knowledge comes at a cost no one fully understands until it’s too late.

Obviously, that whole scene was full of coded statements, which is great for confusion and misreading of intentions, but terrible for transparency and honesty between the two of them.
It seams this is the story of their lives. If we are lucky we might see them try a little bit of real communication down the track. That would be nice. I'd love to see a "shit hits the fan" or "come to Jesus" type of conversation.

Early on after the release of MHB, I fell into the trap of wanting to appease everyone. I made some posts, engaged in some ways I shouldn't have, and nearly altered the course of the story (such as adding/removing scenes, or creating a new ending). Some of my words my have been misleading, confusing, or outright false. I've regained my senses, reminded myself this is for myself first, and you guys are invited spectators that are free to jump off the train if it's not going where you want to go.

Is there a main character and who is it? Vivian the center of the story for sure. Everything essentially revolves around her and creates the scenarios the others respond to. But I don't thinks she's really all that interesting, to be honest. Her motivates, while leading to sexy adventures, are not that complicated. To say that Hutch is more interesting (but maybe not the main character), might be a better way to describe him. Vivian gets her inner monologue as a short cut. Some things are to complicated to express in still renders or would require more extensive blocks of dialogue that would turn off the viewer. While I don't 'identify myself as the main male protagonist' in these games, as a guy I still empathize with them. I guess my goal is to have the viewer (nearly all men) to have some connection to him. I don't want to give him an inner monologue because I hope that the reader will do that for themselves. To deduce his mindset from his actions/reactions. Or to just let it be a mystery. I'm not educated in story telling. Maybe this is a flawed idea.

I think the reader can ask that for themselves as well. Ultimately this story becomes yours when you watch it. You decide who the story is about. Some may empathize with Hutch. Some just want Vivian to be the town bicycle.

Yes, I think some people will jump off the train as the story progresses and the character arcs become set. I wish I could release v0.4 and v0.6 together as I think they balance each other out (vivian vs. hutch). But I won't do that to you guys. I will warn the newer participants here that v0.4 is focused on Vivian and v0.6 is focused on Hutch. Wasn't planned that way, just is.

Yes, I think the ending will divide the remaining viewers. But I hope with each scene, from simple text exchange to raunchy sex, the viewer understands why it is happening based on the character's personality. A one paragraph discription of MHB might make someone beleive it's just another cookie cutter NTR story, but I believe with each release you will say to yourself "Damn! I didn't see that coming" but also see that it fits the story. And that includes the ending.

Yes, the last teaser is from v0.4.

No, the original backyard/bedroom scene will not be extensively shown. Again, early on I was trying to appease people but showing it was not part of the original plan. It is addressed in a couple way in the next two releases but it won't be a fully rendered, retelling from Vivian's or Chris' POV. It needed to happen to establish the rest of the story. It happened quickly in order to get to the rest of the story.

I'll do a progress update at the first of the month. Thanks.

hutch is just a cuck loser bro, There is any possibility of a player sympathizing with this cuck loser, and no one wants to know about this cuckold, except Vivian and boss. i hope u do a good ending for vivian and his boss, and do hutch killhimself =), we are all hoping for new patch! love you S2

Do not change a thing !!! You have read all the comment from the very beginning ( Which myself and a few other here ) were fortunate to be part of. We and all acclaim this as a wonderful piece of ENTERTAINMENT. It is a story first and foremost. We are invested in each of the characters. Love , Hate we have all the emotions . That is a gift from any good writer . The sex is part of the story but in my opinion not the main focus. Please do not be discouraged.... I sense that in your note some. I love to guess where you may be taking us in this next release... I am sure once it is out we will all be on this board trying to see where the next part of the story will go and unfold. Cheers my friend .... oh and as I always ask.... Can I see Vivian naked again !

I took three days off from Hutch, Vivian, and Christian—okay, a little bit from Duke too (joke);)—and then had to catch up on half a novel. Dev, you have a great, loyal community.
I'm going away for a week now, I'm dreading what I'll find on my return :ROFLMAO: Sad I'll miss smashing 300 pages though, massive kudos to SC Stories for creating the game that's given us that much to talk about already!

I remember when I first saw the title of your game I rolled my eyes and thought to myself, ugh great, another boss steals the wife trope, then I saw that it was a kinetic novel and no options were available to control the story and I decided not to play the game right away but was still intrigued because Vivian looked incredible. Playing the game was an experience I've had unlike any other on f95, you're a masterful storyteller that really takes the user through a rollercoaster of emotions, anguish, arousal, angst, jealousy, rage, shame.

You have already outlined this in your message but I also wanted to reiterate that this is YOUR story, please don't pander to the people writing in this forum, you've done an incredible job writing this game/story so far and so many of us appreciate it and can't wait to see how your vision continues to unfold. Thanks again for making this masterpiece.

This game is of the latter sort, and therefore is Hutch the center of gravity.
Because most of players are men,but it could be interesting to see a woman psychology in this kind of situations. Sometimes it isn't as simple and linear as we could think. The problem is it requires a dev that is interested in creating in-depth characters and knows a little bit about men a women psychology. I think SC Stories can do that. From what he has shown right now, it's one of the strength of his game/KN. That's maybe why I hope Vivian won't go from a normal married woman to a turbo whore just because it was corrupted by a sociopath. I will like to see which buttons this sociopath touched that made her choose take the path of debauchery and most probably risk her marriage, professional career and even more.

I don't want to give him an inner monologue because I hope that the reader will do that for themselves.
If you're delaying his inner monologues (or the reasons why he acts like this) because you will develop them in v0.6 I can get it. I can make some assumptions, most probably based it what I would do in a situation like this. That's why having options is interesting, even if I'm fully aware is a headache for the development of the game.

v0.4 is focused on Vivian and v0.6 is focused on Hutch.
I know it's a little bit late, but is not possible to do just a mix of both? or it will brake the evolution of the story just as you have envisaged?
