dodonga cant do much about it or he does this changes or he loses his job and his income to pay rent so it means no more game if he cant earn from this game, he been working full time on this game for the past few month this issue will mainly change yui storyline, maka storyline its still good, for the current situation we cant do much about it i discussed with dodonga of moving site like substar for less control over contents but not many people are willing to move there especially over 90% of his income comes from patreon and itch.io, so please be supportive of developers that are going through of this tough situation

Yui storyline, if these censorship over contents drops in the future dodonga might add the original story back into the game (the current scrapped story becuz of this issue) ~said by him in his patreon post in the replies

as for now some of his community knows about the chancelog but im not sure if he wants to share it here, there been reworks and bugfixes and the h-scene pose he forgot last update + the new maka stuff and he is deciding about yui story

and he is working hard to make the changes and push out the update (that was supposed to be released this mid-end month) as soon as possible

Just gonna spout my opinion but no matter what I wish the best for dodonga and would still look forward to its games. I think at this point the whole char Yui should be locked behind a patch to avoid scrapped her character and her story. Remaking Yui from scratch would probably change her character way too much to the point I would prefer a brand new char to be introduced in order to fill the void Yui left but well... that require a new model and so lots of works...

Godamn we were so close to Yui end story... I hope in the future we will know the original story Dodonga made

I hope this blows over soon because there's NO WAY these feminazis get away with all of this for long. People are pissed off and spamming calls for Visa and Mastercard actually swamping their lines. I hope that gets some points across because a couple hundred Australian wine moms who couldn't keep a family together should never have any say what anyone does with their time. I'm not sure but with renpy you'd have to basically maintain two versions for each release version right? If I was a single dev and I had a choice between maintaining two versions or not I'd just go with the single version and revert changes back later if it came down to it.

You don't need to maintain two versions for each release. You can have the patch set up a flag like fuckCollectiveShout = True, then check it before scenes with questionable content, like this:

In this example, with the patch you'd see the label ("scene") of Melinda Reich doing a BJ, but if you don't you'd see something else.

You can also use this to set up alternate dialogues, like

    brattysis "I can't believe my roommate's dick is so huge!"

Yeah this and they have taken down multiple pages for having flat chested or small cup size women who are shorter than other characters while still being reasonably "of age" looking. It's not new for any censorship to really analyze the whole game for the content, and expecting them not to do so is only asking for trouble. It's much better not to try to sneak something under the radar by locking it behind a code that's not mentioned on the patreon page, or similar situations on other platforms with censorship.
