I thought about giving Artificial Academy 2 a shot, but it looks like a pain to install.(As do most Illusion games.) And I don't usually like installing H-games anyway. I always end up breaking something. Plus, I don't think you can make girls with abs in it like you can in Honey Select and PlayHome. Which is a huge point down for the game.

a pain in the ass to install? wut? if you know how to install japanese games its fucking easy .well ofc you can't expect the same graphic as in honey select, but you have a way better replayability. there is also a skin mod that you can use to give those girls some muscles (without having to delete the normal skin)
.simply check out hongfire. there you can find a huge and really simple installation guide, how to install the game and use the wizzard exe for hongfire mods. you will miss out a really popular game if you don't give it a shot. just sayin'.

Yeah, a pain in the ass. I don't know how to install Japanese games. Nor do I like to do it on my PC. I hate installing H-games in general. There are so many steps to installing it. So many opportunities for shit to go wrong. And I'm an idiot. I know I'll mess up somewhere. I just got done fixing this PC. I don't need more trouble.

If someone repackages the game and makes it installation free like HS and PH, then maybe I'll give it a shot. Otherwise it's not worth it. I doubt I'm missing out on much judging by the models in the game anyway. They don't look very appealing to me. But If I am, it's my loss then, I guess. Wish I could play it, but clearly that's never gonna happen.

but first things first: fucking get ya pc on japanese non unicode. it won't harm you and your pc it only changes some descritpions into japanese and thats it. if you have win 7 home premium you also have to install the japanese language package, but it should be stored in ya driver ready to be installed. if you don't know if you have it installed or not: check out if you can read japanese letters on ya pc.
now second: download the goddamn game in a folder. if i remember correctly, piratebay has a nice one without an installation.
third: use HF patch, that you can download from hongfire. it's so fucking easy to use, even the most idiotic moron in texas can use it.
now you should have the game in english and all, ready to be played
.all in all it might take ya 1 hour. if you are fast and have a good connection, you are done in 20 mins.
oh and by the way you will miss out a lot. i played so many games already i know what im talking about. AA1, AA2 and AG3 were really great games. they are just old thats why the graphics aren't that fresh anymore. but you know... mods can help ya out

Last time I installed a Japanese program I couldn't remove it. It was a huge hassle. I don't trust myself with installations that aren't in English. Too often I end up with gibberish files that the uninstall.exe then can't find. Maybe it's easy for you, but I'm a moron. And I'm lazy. I like my H-games ready to go. I lose all will to play them if it takes too long to set them up. Call me spoiled, but it is what it is.
Because it's my System Drive and it only has so much space. Just enough to run properly. I can't install games on it. Especially not ones as huge as these.
Unless I can put this game in my own personal folder on my E drive then it's a no-go. Can't just have H-games lying around anywhere on my PC. It's not mine. And I'm not the only one that uses it.
Can't set my PC to Japanese. My dad uses it for work and some of his programs don't run properly then. So yeah, it will harm me and my PC. It's simply not an option.
I found a link on Pirate Bay. Says English on the link so maybe I won't have to use that HF patch either. Which is good.
Hopefully it will take only a couple of minutes to set up.
But anyway, thanks for pointing out the Pirate Bay link. I doubt I'll play the game for long since there aren't any muscle girls, and I don't trust myself to install that skin patch. But I should at least get a few hours of fun. Hopefully it's as simple and linear as HS and PH. Just fucking bitches whichever way I want with no worry of repercussion. It's the best. :evilsmile:
I'm not big on mods. Even with shit like Oblivion they're such a hassle to install and run properly. I'm not a tech guy. Like I said, if it's not as simple as just overwriting some files then it's best I don't touch it. I wish I was smarter about these things and confident enough to risk it. 'Cause there are mods I'd love to try. But I'm not. And probably never will be. Wish I at least had a techie friend who could help me out. Oh well.

It is VERY uncommon to get 6/66 false positives. Especially considering that most of the games downloaded here don't trigger any virus scanner. It doesn't matter anyways. I simply deleted the yandere.exe and opened the game via RenPy as project. I can play it just fine like this.

but in most cases you can simply rename these files. and by the way: this also happens with western pics and games too. so its not a specific japanese problem.
for uninstalling things... use iobit, screw the normal uninstaller. USE iboit. it will also delete registry files and hidden files. making ya pc way cleaner than with a normal uninstaller.
well if it takes you to long to even setup a game i guess you shouldn't even try playing games like civilization or europa universalis then. but just saying: if you don't try it out you will never gain anything from it. it's the same in real life.
for the driver. friggin buy a second one, costs you maybe 50 bucks or even less for a decent 1tb driver. plug it on ya motherboard and there you go! dunno why you use a e-driver (cloud?) or so.

very uncommon? no its not! never heard of false positive? and there are a lot of games that can trigger it. especially games made on third party programs.
anyway all the 6 anti virus programs are fucking garbage. all the important ones are saying its clean! kaspersky, panda, avast, gdata, symantec and so on. if you are relying on some chinese shit virus program than you can delete ya half pc 'cause it will detect everything as a virus.

No need to take it so personally. I won't listen to your advise anyways. I have more than enough experience to make a judgement myself and like I said: I can play it just fine while having deleted the malicious exe file.
