Diego was never going to win in that formation. Diego can only win by moving on. Erica and Edward can move on too and feel they helped him grow as a person.
Edward and Erica's dynamic also can only grow without Diego. So Ruffo and Juliet are the only other people in this universe so far. And I think its important to remember that Ruffo and Juliet are in a open relationship. And Ruffo and Juliet have their own flaws. Erica is deeply aware of the flaws and she probably will seek to fix them. Erica loves the control she has over Edward. Edward loves being controlled by Erica.

The reason nothing can move forward without Diego leaving is because the dev went to them having sex too fast, it was only their second sexual interaction, the first one being a blowjob where she didn't even manage to take his whole dick, it should have started with a handjob and slowly progress.

If it was more gradual, every character, including Diego, would've been able to grow more too, because they had more time and because a gradual progression makes it easier for people to get used to things and change, letting them digest and learn things.
I already said, he brought Ruffo in because he sped things up, now the story will become a normal NTR with blackmail because Ruffo realized that Erica and Ed are married after he noticed the wedding rings, another plot error, he made two mistakes, and now he's forced to tell a different story. You'll see how the game will lose all its potential in the next updates.

Yeah it’s definitely not NTR yet. Misgivings aside, I do agree with you on most points. The game didn’t start out as trying to get Diego a confidence boost but that’s what is turned into. It’s the obvious path the game is taking us on. Even the small update is mostly Diego based and builds how they’re going to disengage from him because he’s grown confident but is getting too close.
If this was an NTR game, Diego would probably manipulate them into keeping him around and corrupting Erica. But that’s not what’s going to happen because it’s NTS. I’m interested to see what 10b gives us. Please no Ruffy. Anyone but him
